4K walking in Plaza Zabala (Zabala Square) and along Rincón Street in the Old Town or Ciudad vieja in our hometown: Montevideo, Uruguay. We love walking along this ancient streets, even though it has changed over time and it is not as it used to be during colonial times. You will see some magnificent ancient buildings not always well taken care of. This is the financial district of Montevideo, so you'll see several banks on the way. This video 4k was recorded during a beautiful day. This is slow tv, a virtual walking tour that I hope you will enjoy in 4k HDR. An interesting city walk where you will watch authentic local people in their urban natural environment through this virtual tour.

Viajá de puerto a puerto, de Bs As a Mvd, vale la pena.
Montevideo no se parece a Europa , la Plaza Zabala tiene si , un aire parisino, dentro de la Ciudad Vieja
Buenos Aires tiene miles de sitios así y es una ciudad más linda.
De Paris (3,56) a NYork (7:17) en 2 cuardas. Solo en URUGUAY!!! Felicitaciones gran trabajo, gran cinemática. En este caso, final mejorable.

It looks like an European city. Districts of Paris (my hometown) or Buenos Aires (I guess) look just about like this, with a lot of architecture from different eras.
Apparently, there's not too many 'stroads' over there, which is great. It's better for the people to live in the city when cars are gradually driven away.
But they still lack bike paths in my opinion. Biking is actually convenient in town.
I realize Uruguay is a small country, so they can't develop all the mass transit stuff we've got here on their own.
But this is quite something for a country of 3.5 million.
The French wouldn't do any better.

Hola, esa parte corresponde la Ciudad Vieja también llamada Ciudadela, viene de épocas de la llegada de los primeros europeos lugar donde se afincaron. Además amurallaron la pequeñita ciudad con el fin de protegerse de otras potencias beligerantes que podrían invadirla, como ser Españoles, Portugueses, Franceses, Ingleses etcétera. Por ser el lugar más antiguo de la Ciudad de Montevideo, es que no existen las bicisendas y las calles son estrechas conviviendo estás con la antigua arquitectura y las más modernas.
Por último y no menos importante Don Bruno Mauricio de Zabala de quien lleva el nombre la plaza es el fundador de Montevideo.

Muy buen video como siempre. La ciudad vieja ha mejorado considerablemente. Faltan algunos cafes y restaurantes y más movimiento y sería perfecta.
Es un lugar con un gran potencial como toda la ciudad. Esperamos que en algún momento el mismo se vaya desarrollando

Este video quedará como testimonio de cómo lucia la Ciudad Vieja antes que se dispararan los grafitis en forma exponencial, antes que la Intendencia se decidiera a hacer una peatonal en la calle Rincón que no le aporta nada, que destruyó las veredas con baldosas de granito que había nivelado con buen criterio una Administración anterior y que creó un eje paralelo a la Sarandí que es o debiera ser la vía turística desde Puerta de Ciudadela al Mercado del puerto…un verdadero despropósito.
