@@polluchi3677 El estadio Feliz Sanchez no es mala cancha y es super aprobada por la Fifa. No te pierdas en eso. En cuanto a la asistencia, si fue gente pero solo se uso una sola tribuna que es la que no es enfocada por pa cámara. Además tú sabes muy bien que solo en la copa mundial de fútbol femenino es que va mucha gente. Por último, la República Dominicana es un país donde el baseball es el deporte rey y poco a poco el fútbol se está abriendo el paso y hay que apoyarlo, no criticarlo como tú lo estás haciendo.
Y aun así esta Canadá le va hacer sufrir a México, son muy veloces y México es mas lento

Ahora que lo pienso es raro, casi todos los torneos juveniles de concacaf tanto femenil es como varoniles se han hecho en República Dominicana, siendo que hay otros países con mejor infraestructura y más público, supongo que tendrá que ver con jugar en un país neutral o algo así

This was a great game - really entertaining. The girls really deserved a proper audience, but that was hardly going to happen given that the tournament is being held in a country notorious for its systemic misogyny, where women continue to be discriminated against in just about every way.
I can think of plenty of other CONCACAF countries where these matches would have attracted a decent crowd. I understand that it is important to be visible in order to try and improve things in nations themselves, but it's rather hard on the players and sucks for them to have to go out there with very little support.
Baseball is the predominant sport in the DR. Even men's soccer gets zero attention on that island so don't place the blame on the Dominican people/culture. Costa Rica, Argentina, even Mexico has a larger gender gap than the DR, which isn't even in the top 15 for Latin countries.
