The infinity/jbl subs sound great & same subwoofers Perfect example of quality/clarity over shaking the neighborhood👌! I love that Harmon (infinity & jbl) over sized the all drivers not just the subs I picked up infinity reference 6.5" components and coaxials surface area with surround is almost 7" super clean sounding without using a big amp or for those that can't run them off an amp
I bought the Kappas 6.5 components, sound like crap , sounds hollow with that plastic cone my old Pioneers components sound way better , I’m going back to Pioneer

That's what I love about JBL/Infinity. Their speakers and subs have very high sensitivity. Don't need much power for clear and accurate sound. For the price and performance, they are ridiculously inexpensive.
One MB to another MB, your videos are helping me out a lot when it comes to knowledge. I have a Honda Ruckus, which is a moped, that I'm looking to have a nice sound system for. That particular sub was one I was looking into since I've found that my stator (alternator) is rated around 130 and wanted something with a low rated rms yet still be able to get decently low.

I had the 6.5 in my old build in a accord sport. 4 of them on a JBL apex 15?? It was at 1ohm...... loud and clean for $125 for 2 of them.....very very punchy and the 6.5 coaxial could move and twist the tweeter for maximum performance, like if you place them in your dash, you could twist the tweeter towards you.... great stuff......I'm sure the subs are just as good...
So, 400W is an additional 26dB (10W is 10dB, 100W is 20dB, and 1000W is 30dB, so 200w is 23dB and 400W is 26dB). That means this will do continuous around 115dB per, two would be 118dB. That is some good volume, even if not up in the 120s or 130s. And that isn't addressing cabin gain, etc.
Good show, alot of information about a different power level sub 8. I hope people wouldn't waste the performance in a factory box versus a custom spec box to get the real results not just a around about what it could do
A lot of people don’t know about Arc Audio but they are really good, I’ve never owned their subs but I do own their Arc Audio Moto 6.5 602HD and MOTO 692 6x9 and they are my favorite mids and highs. I’ve owned hertz, focals and other high end brands and these out performs all of them.

i had a lot of Harman Kardon related stuff over the year my first real bass bumper was a pair of JBL 1200gti 12s and a pair of punch 200s i had a Harman Kardon pull out and crossover i had a few concord amps They need to bring back the gti 15s or at least make recone kits

Do you make custom size enclosures? I'm buying my girlfriends son 2 JL 10W3-4's , and I can't seem to find any decent looking boxes anywhere. We're not searching for a ton of "SPL", just great SQ and obviously enough base to satisfy a 16 year old kid.

You don't need that much juice. But in my case SQL I run the new alpine type x 12s ported tuned @32.... But I think sealed is a better application for them. There F.S is 27 hertz. With there amazing Xmech and X max they can get really low and accurate. I'm running mine on a RF t2500 at 4ohm= over 2000rms at 4... I don't need to run them at 1ohm being only 900rms...But there sensitivity is 84 so you gotta throw power to them.....1000rms per sub they laugh at it....barely flinch.
@@M.B.Enclosures in the past I've bought amps that was just the right amount of power i needed. But when changing cars and upgrading im left with Amps I don't use. 3k watt would work nice but I would like something I can use for future purposes.

JBL speakers were used in the first Woodstock. Also used in most theaters. That's all anyone needs to know about JBL.

Those are my kind of subs. I love my old school ROCK. You put 4 of those on a infinite baffle, its like a machine gun!!!!!!!

Look into the arc audio arc series 8". The founder of Image Dynamics designed it. SD is 35.8, 15mm one way, fs 22.7, 150-300 rms and .35-.75 vented.
