Sarbpreet Singh on Maharaja Ranjit Singh ॥ The Camel Merchant of Philadelphia । SukhanLok I

Sarbpreet Singh is a playwright , poet, commentator and sikh historian. He was born in Sikkim, in a Punjabi sikh family and moved to USA for further studies in technology. He is the author of Kultar’s Mime, a long poem about the 1984 Sikh Genocide. 'The Camel Merchant of Philadelphia: Stories from the Court of Maharaja Ranjit' is his latest published work. He is very active in Boston Interfaith circles , USA.He is also the founder and director of the Gurmat Sangeet Project.

I have read Suraj di akkh by Baldev Singh. Available in Punjab freely. It slightly differs from that, almost same.
Good attempt by this scholar also. It will take one week for you to read the book but he has compacted the things in one hour.

Baldev Singh did great research to bring out the real image and character of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. But still many orthodox are criticizing it.
Sarbpreet Singh did his own work to put forward his works in English language which makes it easy to read in large numbers.
