Always watch out for adding any plugins to your project. Every plugin that you add can introduce not only a level of unnecessary complexity, one plugin going so far as to having it's own Assembly Reference at one point in a larger project I was working on, but also when you update Unity, you can have multiple plugins break and it's a real pain to work with.

Hi would you recommended unity? every one saying go Godot but it seems like its not ready for basic 3D games, no console export proven yet. I'm a noob so I need tutorials ect, but I hate the idea of the assets store begin a must for unity to even work and then there's the problems you mentioned.

Bruh who says the asset store is a must have thing .
You have knowledge for blender , photoshop, advanced level c# skill then you can definitely make game without a single assets

@@ayushdey5494 what people say is, don't use the inbuilt use this thing from the store. Then they start taking about updates breaking those assets/plug inns. I think some of those things are free and most not. Take unreal it has cameras and player controllers all built in free. It's along those lines. So am I wrong? Please try to get rid of these fears for me. Thank you

You need to download plugins via Unity Package Manager if you are talking about ProBuilder or Cinemachine. And Mixamo is just a third-party service. All other links should lead to the AssetStore. Let me know if you see a different result.
