Today I painted my boyfriends PS5 / Playstation 5! He asked me if I would customize it for him and I couldn't wait to do it! Painting and customizing electronics are never easy..but this was the perfect canvas and I am really happy with how it turned out!

Love the content, but your choice of when the vocal track is unbalanced to the left is a bit jarring. I understand wanting that audio separation, but perhaps more subtly. Liked and long since subbed 😁

There is a liquid cooling system in the PS5 that leaks when the console is upright and it breaks the PS5. Look it up, save your PS5! Ha ha.

That is incredible! We recommend this video for anyone who still thinks acrylic paint lacks the blending and handling capabilities of oils. With the fast drying rate of acrylics, there's still plenty of time for everyone to paint and craft up some presents, so let's all put on our false whiskers, stuff some pillows under our red coats, put some antlers on every loyal studio pet, and go paint like a bunch of jolly old elves!
I have a fine arts degree,and I've worked extensively with both oil and acrylic. It might be somewhat more of a challenge, but if you make the effort, acrylics can work VERY similarly to oil. It just takes practice.
@@victoriaeads6126 Thanks, that's our experience too! We see artists do amazing things with so many different mediums, the key is to work to the strengths of each art material and don't expect to transpose the same technique every time.

Chloe, thanks for showing us your work in its "ugly" stage. Whenever one of my paintings is in that state, it's hard to let anyone see it so I force myself to hurry past that part. lol It turned out amazing! Would love to see part 2!
The ugliest stage is the scariest thing ever! Has definitely scared me off from many paintings!
@@gresahalili2627 Right? And that's unfortunate because if we can just trust the process then it will probably work out fine. I trashed a painting once of 5 Cavalier King Charles spaniels because it was giving me fits and someone stole it from my trash. 😅 We are always hardest on ourselves.

I have an unfinished painting I hid in my closet cause I can’t bring myself to look past the ugly stage 😂 but the paintings I have the hardest time pushing through, end up being my favorite. So lately, I’ve just been pushing myself to finish regardless of how nice I think it is.

random tip for clouds in acrylic... blend them out with a big, dry fluffy makeup brush when the paint is almost dry. makes it so much easier

I just stumbled upon this video so don't know either of them. But I also noticed that. I thought it was cute of her too that she kept saying it looks better from far. Almost apologetically if that makes sense. She painted something beautiful, she's happy with it and he is too. But she wants it to be perfect for him so she keeps pointing it out. It was pretty cute. That said I could also be overthinking it haha.
That painting looked complicated Chloe, yet you made it look easy! I have to admit I flinched when you started sanding the panel lol. Your boyfriend's reaction was great, he was really happy with it. I would love to see you paint the other side Chloe. Maybe you can persuade your boyfriend to come on a video and create something together? What do you think? Is he up for that? it was really interesting to see the process of the painting, even showing the "ugly stage." i can definitely understand trying to work on details to make up for that stage ahahaha but it's definitely all about trusting the process!

I’ve just started painting like 3 weeks ago and I’ve fallen in love. This video helped me describe something I was feeling. You mentioned about details keeping you going and not having the painting in ugly phase for long spoke to me. And great video production and the PS5 came out great! And I only have acrylic paint so this helps!

I have to paint a ps5 for somebody, and I am SOOO scared. Because I don’t usually use acrylic paints, i’m more of a watercolor gal lol. I’ve got to paint Aloy from a video game called Forbidden West. But this video helped me a LOT! So thank you so much, this video came at the perfect time lol.

Hullo Chloe, I hope you have enough requests for the second video for the other side! I am also requesting that video! You paint however you enjoy painting. Work from big blocky areas to more refined or bit by bit! The only “rules” for painting should be the ones that insure that the painting will last and not peal or flake off! I am glad that you created a painting rather than a sculpture that Martina created, she is in a category all on her own! I am another fan that was Hoping for a bear to represent, even a little fella climbing a tree in the distance, maybe for the second side? You could even use some 3D elements if you want to try out some Nerdforge or Martina effects! Why not a bear clawing their way out of the console! You will creat a wonderful part 2 and we will be here to cheer you on!

At the part where your lid with paint dropped on your painting I thought now the whole painting is ruined but you are a fighter for sure. You, not only fixed it but also made such a beautiful mountain. You are so talented. I love your art n I think this is your best realistic painting so far. that came out awesome I've been a GOW fan since it came out in 2005, and I love this not to mention I'm partial to anything in the blue spectrum. I would do this myself, but I'll be too afraid to sandpaper the ps5 I give you kudos for the guts you had to do that lol. hope you will decide to other side would love to see it, also did you put anything on top to seal it?

Well done! As a fellow artist I get the struggle when you feel like you have to explain yourself because your painting is in the "ugly stage" and someone comes along in the middle of your process and starts critiquing your works and you're just screaming internally like "I know!
