Hi Bas, thank you for providing useful content always. Very helpful. I have one silly question. In case if i have a pro license of power bi and would like to publish a dashboard using sharepoint platform, can a user without bi pro lisense can veiw the dashbaord and interact?
Thanks for these great videos! I create a Menu but it is not navigate me to the other pages..What should I do about it?
Guy wants me to see his face more than the tutorial. Nice 👍
Thank you for this video, what if I don't want to include text just image, is it achievable?
very neatly done
Thx!
Thank you
I was able to build the navigator as you described but it was not working
Are you supposed to make a connection to the worksheets?
Hello, Can you do a tutorial on how to create comparison report? Wherein we can compare various categories in one visuals. With a slicers that have multiple heirarchy? If that's a possibility. I haven't found any resource accross youtube discussing this aspect if its doable.
Thanks ~
Hallo! Thx for content! Which version PBI are you using?
fabulous content! just don't forget to listen to the instructions and press CTRL+CLICK when testing the buttons - drove me bonkers for several minutes!!!
Hahah true story… :) glad you enjoyed it
love it. Excellent
Thanks! 💪
U are shockingly good
Hey, just curious is there any use case for the navigation buttons (i.e. is this used in certain situations where the standard navigation isn't available) OR is it just an aesthetic thing since the built in navigator is only ok?
Hi @How to Power BI thanks for this class!
In the minute 9:03 for the icons I press windows + period and doesn't appear the icons.
Do you know other options so I can achieve the icons?. Thanks in advance.
Super useful and great tutorial
thx again Alex!!! 😊
Thanks bro
Love your accent
hey. great video. can you please show us how to use image instead of text in icons and image instead of page name?
Would be perfect if you explain a context and the result as soon as the video starts. Btw your content are the best
I really like your ideas they are really creative. By the way, why does the layout of your Power BI look so different? did you change a theme?.
beautifull mate !
Thanks a lot!
Muito bom, meus "menus" são inspirados daqui
This looks great but curious what the benefits are behind this vs. the standard page tabs that already exist. Seems like additional work and sacrifice of report real estate.
just ux - might be a consideration if you believe it is clearer / nicer for the end user .. if space is a problem you could create a btn to show hide the menu
It's amazing 😍
hi Tukaram, thanks! quite surprising how much flexibility the built in navigations provides :)
Is there were a way to filter the pages shown on the button, except "Show hidden pages" feature ?
Let's say I have 2 slicers. One is called Start Date time and one is called End Date time where you can select a date range. Is there a way to set the End Date slicer to list dates starting where the Start Date slicer ended? For example, if I selected Sep 20th as my start date, could I get the End Date dropdown slicer to start on Sep 21st?
I can do this in Excel and Access, but can't find a way in Power Bl. Can please do this video
As Usual ... Awesome video 👏👏
Thank you! Cheers! 😊
Many thanks for this video BAs, it’s awesome. I followed all the steps - however, when I click on the buttons they don’t navigate to the pages.could you kindly advise
in powerbi desktop you need to hold ctrl and then click. When you publish it to pbi service you can just click without holding ctrl
very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
¡Gracias!
thank you Marco for supporting the channel!
Good job.
Many many thanks Kassio 😊
This is really cool. ❤. Are the buttons supposed to work? Mine are not. Or do they work once the report is published?
At hover you have extra option showing selected so you can able change color on selected button font color and rest are not? Pls explain ?
