Last Seasons Catch at the Green River Fishing for Coho Salmon with Spinners! Can't Wait for this years Salmon Season. LIKE and Subscribe for more content ! ENJOY!
not without paying a price lol I come out bloodier than the fish sometimes. I keep the entrances narrow to keep some spots a little more conceal and less appealing to those without machetes.
Ive been fishing the carbon. Lots of fish still among the ones dying out. I used to work in kent, might have to come poke around the area and try and get something. Nice video bro good catch
Thanks for the comment! Lots of chum in kent right now, bobber and small purple jig tipped with shrimp got me my first couple of chum this morning for the season! harvested 1 hen to make some more egg cure baits, very big berries(eggs). I tried driving to fish the carbon once, I took the wrong turn and went home and that was it lol thats good you're still able to hook up fish there!
Nice video. New to fishing. Been to green river but no bites. Was using kastmaster lure. May be the place i go have no hole for fish to stay. Please guide me to any good place to fish in river.
There are fish all throughout the river system right now but people are mainly catching them on bobber and eggs set-up, or drifting eggs with sinkers. If I don't have eggs I will look for bends in the river or places like submerged trees or anything the salmon can hide behind and rest in, I would throw blue fox spinners in the early morning, all my fish caught this year on spinners were on overcast days and between 7-11 am, the the tide is going out it seems. But ititss a hit and miss for me as well, walk along the green river trail and you'll need to explore to find these so called Honey Holes, the entrances are pretty obvious. I mainly fish in kent and there are spots along the costco/Home Depot area. As far as parking there is a public parking area across the 7-eleven when you're heading on West valley Hwy S. Hope this helps
Thanks for the video. Do you know the green river net schedule. I’ve been trying to look it up online with no success. I see nets at the mouth of the river almost every time I was there
I'm not sure that's a good question, I fish Kent/Tukwila area below 212th bridge and never see nets where I fish. Hopefully someone with good sources reads this comment and can help answer your question, ill ask around to see if I can get answers myself..
This year will be a fresh year, ill be at the same spot same place! I will definitely let you know when its "GO" time, I learned a lot this last few seasons and im super excited for this coming season already! I still got a lot to learn!
of course! per regulations, and there is also a certain section in the green river that you're allowed to keep kings(not sure about this year) just follow the updated regs. tight lines..
Go to fred Meyers, and get if u haven't tried , kalbi, it's a sea food marinade, comes in a red package in the meat department, it adds a awesome new flavor to salmon trout and steelhead, good job
Thanks for the support! Its located near the Costco In Tukwila/Kent Area by southcentermall area! "Green River Trail". Lots of SNAGS but some good areas that I've learned to fish and avoid getting snagged, a lot of sticker thorn bushes as well so be prepared. Im a crazy guy so I go into places that are almost unreachable but "No-one" around :) PEACE and Quiet until I hook up!!! fish on!
1/0 I think, it comes in the package with the blue fox spinner, I just cut the trebles off and attach this hook, very good hook up ratio barely lose fish with this hook
@@talibandz707 it was an awesome fight, they like to head shake and death roll like crazy, I lost some pretty good size coho on the green last few years mostly cause I keep forgetting to bring a net and im horrible at banking them, but now I have a net on me at all times ready to scoop!
@@raymondfox8550 lol thanks a lot, I appreciate the comment! Those Blue fox's are fun to fish! need to experiment with other spinners! maybe homemade?? exciting stuff 🤗
im pretty sure you did not "READ" the rules and regulations in this area. Your also allowed to keep 2 Adult kings in this certain stretch of the green river.

All salmon needs is season salt and butter. Everything is unnecessary.
