- Brook and I took a trip up to the pacific northwest to fish with our friends from the @AddictedFishing youtube channel. Our first stop was to fish for spring chinook salmon aka king salmon on a river in Washington. We were back bouncing with Salmon roe, looking for one of the most expensive salmon species in the world. Spring chinook have a high fat content and are revered as some of the best salmon, when compared to other species. This is the first video from our time fishing in Oregon and Washington!

Springer! Most sought after salmon we have out here. So glad you guys got to try it fresh like that. - Marlin
Thanks for having us!
Yeeewwww!!!!! ALL BENT UP WITH THE ADDICTED CREW!!!!! Much love from a hardcore addicted fan here in the rogue valley!
It doesn’t get any better than that!
Sea run cut throats or steel head are my favorite. Caught so many kings and silvers from California to Canada for years. Nothing like fresh caught salmon in the ocean..once they hit fresh water they change
Good to see you guys link up!
Cheese absolutely does not belong on salmon what a sin. I want to taste salmon not cheese.
For real.
Hell yes! Jordan is the only one I consistently watch on Addicted Fishing’s channel. His energy and excitement is just infectious. I’m so happy you guys did a collab. I hope there’s more like this coming.
Everyone always tags the Addicted Fishing channel instead of Jordans solo channel. And I always forget the name of it. Do you remember his solo channel name? It’s actually hard to find just searching his name and such. I feel like maybe he should change the name so it comes up in searches better. Or include better tags.
@@AshtrayAnnie sorry for the late reply. His channel is Stay Fishy Adventures. Amazing content.
@@ericakinley thanks haha. I ended up finding it again
I’ve got a couple things to say..
1. This is one of my favorite videos you’ve made.
2. I loved Jordan he’s so funny and just seems like a good guy
3. The pup stole the show
The pup's name is "Little"!
Jordan is a great human 👍
It was amazing to see my favorite East Coast ( Victor and Brook) fishing channel do a video with the ADDICTED crew! Thanks from Oregon!
I’m an Oregon viewer and I absolutely loved this content and watch Jordan and his crew a lot, was a blast to watch this great content with the two of you!
Do it again.. haha please
Welcome to the Northwest. Glad to see you enjoying the fishing I am used to, the Addicted team does a great job sharing content and educating for our area fisheries as you do for Florida. Looking forward to another trip to Key West to use some of your teaching . Thanks.
Hella Jealous not going to lie! Always wanted to fish with Jordan his energy is unmatched and his respect and Knowledge in the fishing community is hands down Idle worthy for sure
Hope you guys enjoy the travel videos. I got a special guest coming to stay with Brook and I tomorrow. Comment below your guess! Hint: *They are from California*

Seeing you with Addicted is my favorite thing ever!
Rad to see you out here with the Addicted crew. I'm a Stuart native that has been out here in the PNW for over a decade now, so it's cool to see channels from both walks of my life joining forces!
I'm from the NW, salmon/steelhead/trout/sturgeon all the way. Then eventually YT suggested Landshark videos. I became a fan of what you guys do down south and now you're in our corner of the country seeing what we do. Very cool.
Glad you guys were able to make it out here. Was stoked to see 2 of my favorite fishing channel's get together. Hope you get a chance to fish for some oversize sturgeon while you're here, and go get some fresh Dungeness Crab at the coast before you go, you'll never want your lobster's again!
we tried crabbing one day but got skunked!
@@LandsharkOutdoors But the crabbing in Oregon just hits different!
When he hooked up into the salmon and his genuine excitement...... I know that feeling well, best feeling in the world
Dude yes congrats I'm so happy to see you guys linking up with addicted fishing!
That’s the excitement you want outta your guide , gotta love addicted fishing.
I love how excited dude from Addicted gets!! It's really a great thing!
This is awesome. I love both of your channels, what a great collab. I would have never imagined this.
Looked like such a good time, beautiful scenery and an awesome time fishing! That's a bucket list place & fish to go do and experience for sure!
The scenery never gets old!
@@LandsharkOutdoors not at all the Pacific NorthWest is stunning! Ive lived in New England my whole life the scenery and fishing out this way is pretty great as well depending the season and type of fish you're going after! Striped Bass, Tuna, Fluke, Flounder , Rainbow Brown & Brook trout are all really fun to go for!
I started watching these Landshark videos over a month ago. Victor does a great job. It's like going on a mini vacation. I love to cook. I'm getting good filet lessons.
Absolutely love fishing in the cold.
I am so envious. I wish we had the opportunities to go sea fishing in the sun where we can catch so many varieties of wonderful fish. Great videos mate well played and keep them coming.
This is an awesome collab, I watch both channels religiously and am from the PNW, this was fun!!
YOOOO Landshark and Addicted fishing??? That's insane I'm so hyped
Welcome to our home state. Spring Chinook Salmon are the best. I have fished here for 60+ years I've eaten all the Salmon the Pacific Northwest Offers.
Thank you for watching
This video made me kinda feel like im out there hanging out with you guys feels close to home idk maybe i just like the outdoors and fresh water fishing
The two best fishing channels on CZcams making videos together 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼🔥
I have watched your videos for a long time, it is awesome to see you fishing my home river the north fork of the lewis. You guys are awesome!
So funny to see you guys in the snow!
Another awesome trip vid. Not envious of the cold though, only the fresh fish!!! 🦞🐠🦞
Glad to see you guys fishing with Jordan!! Link up with more West coast fisherman, cheers from California
I've watched several of your videos and enjoy them. Catching halibut in Alaska and the trip to the islands off southern California and the rockfish and yellowtail. In 1978-1979 I spent 19 months in Kodiak Alaska and caught Pink, Silver and Sockeye salmon in the spring and early summer and they are different than King salmon but being fresh out of the river with the sea lice still on them was just amazing. I wrapped them in foil with lemon and butter and spices but seeing this video with fresh King salmon makes me want to go up there again.
the first 10 seconds you got me hooked, love the music
I'll agree snowing in April is unusual in Oregon but we have had snow in June and July also and ice storms. I never thought of pesto on salmon looks good. 😋🐟
We are lucky enough to have this as one of our main sport fish in my area, absolutely nothing like it. Best tasting salmon on the planet! Hope you had a blast, always appreciate seeing your methods of cooking 💪👌🤙
Aye Vick welcome to my side of the country buddy! The fisheries here are soo unique and I’m happy you guys get to enjoy them.
Welcome to the PNW! Excited to see you fishing in the northwest! Right lines
Welcome to Oregon. I commercial fished for salmon for 15 years and have been an avid sport fisherman for 30 more. Springer Salmon is highly prized and you are fortunate to have gotten to experience one. By the way, this is not our typical April weather.
Oh man!! The beautiful redish pink color of the meat looks soooo delicious. There's absolutely nothing like fresh caught salmon. Nice catch!
that guide is hilarious! good stuff
6:14 the dog wanted a little bite of that beautiful salmon
Glad to see you up in the PNW!! Washington is home, and home to some of the best salmon fishing available. You couldn't have picked a better guide... Jordan & the rest of the Addicted crew are top notch. (Jordan is the man).
I do love seeing all the varieties you have down in Florida, and hope to dip another line in there soon. Been flounder & grouper fishing, but there are SO many more variety on my to do list. I would be lost tho....lol. Need a guide I think.
PS, it doesn't rain 9 months out of the year here 😂 we just tell people that so they stop moving here.
Awesome video. Love Landshark and Addicted fishing channels
Tiny was ready to eat that first salmon as soon as you got it in the boat
I grew up in Vancouver WA so Oregon has always been a stones throw away. Never really puts it into perspective how cool that is until someone isn’t used to it
Awesome, Florida snow birds, nice fish❤.
Just found your channel and definitely gonna stick around. Love the vibes man 🤙🏻
You guys are lucky to fish with Jordan. He's the man in these parts
So glad you got to come to my Home state and enjoy the best Salmon on the planet. Spring Chinook. Fat marbling like A5 wagu. Hopefully Jordan invites the both of you for summer fishing on the ocean and Bouy 10 fishing on the Columbia. Long time watcher of your channel and was waiting for you two to get here and figured it would be addicted to make it happen. Best wishes
As a PNW resident for 10 years - Columbia River is amazing
I love how he called the salmon, springs, most Americans refer to spring/chinook as kings. I subscribed to him totally for that.
God love it love it! Gotta book a trip with this guy! Great!
There is nothing better than putting slabs of a Springer in the BBQ, unwrap the tinfoil and see all the oil..🤤🤤🤤 Definitely my favorite salmon🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I used to catch these by the tone in the Nottawasaga river Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Great fight
Awesome job guys
I fish year round for salmon and steelhead, but l literally have the kitchen pass to fish springers. That's the first thing that runs out in my freezer. That's what we do out here. Toil in the crap elements for that tug. Glad you enjoyed.
First of just gonna say welcome to the north land. And I wish you nothing but success.
Man that looks sooooo good!
Great video Viktor 🙌
Heading out for lake trout this Friday (first trip of the year) and that pesto and mayo recipe is on the menu! Now I just need a fish....Great video. Cheers.
Wishing you luck!
Awesome u guys did a collab !!
that's my home river!!! good fishing when it ain't a free way!!!
I love salmon fishing!
I love the collabs. Nice to see you took Taku to Sass! Was just there last weekend 👊🏽
My mouth is watering just watching y’all eat ..😂🤤🤤🤤
The salmon looks delicious! I need to try that mayo/pesto basil recipe one of these days.
Love chrome, orange Salmon 👏🎣👍
The taste will never forget :)
Caught a 26 lbs wild chinook off lummi island fought like crazy my personal favorite 🎣 fish
I love watching your reaction when you catch giant fish. It’s awesome. I’m still trying to catch my first salmon on the Oregon coast but am wondering when the best time of year to go is. I head down to Tillamook and Lincoln City quite bit but don’t know where to go. I don’t have a boat so I am looking for a place to fish from the bank. I’ve tried Memaloose boat launch and Mills Bar before on the Wilson River but no luck yet.
Vic, I’d love to hear about your film gear sometime and how you deal with the wind so effectively. Great post btw!
What kind of crazy guests are you having?
I used to hate salmon, but I always gave it a try and I’ve found the quality really matters for me. Now I could eat it raw once a week easy
You gotta come back in August and hit up the salmon fishing during what we call the buoy 10 season at the mouth of the Columbia!
Fresh salmon is like no other. Removing the skin is a must as well!
I love the skin!
I live in Washington and every year we get snow in April. I’m just north of Vancouver. We got 14 inches this time which is more than ever
Welcome to fishing the pnw lol it's been brutaly cold lately . Glad to see yall enjoyed yourselves! Keep up the great content!
Thank you!
I Love Salmon in any way possible.
I caught my first Spring Chinook today!!
Your fishing equipment is fantastic, this pond has great fish, you are a very lucky fisherman, Congratulations!👍🎣🐟🐠🔝
*_I love your videos!_* 🥰
God bless you always!
Lol bot
@@doctorcrew1631 right?! Hahaha
I've had the pesto but not with t mayo too . Look fantastic 😊 I'm definitely going to use mayo too next time 😉
Great vid..you guys
I thought I was watching addicted’s channel, good stuff
❤️ the addicted colab 👌🏻
Awesome video thanks buddy
Thank you!
Maan that looked like good times. Fish in tin foil is hard to get wrong. I was cracking up at the most expensive fish paired with good ole Busch. I can't wait to watch more!
Good ole lewis river
Hey my neck of the woods I live here I Washington state.. springer season amazing I've gotten 9 so far but still early
That’s a dang good video!!
Funny enough, I’m currently working at the local salmon Hatchery clipping the adipose fin on chinook and then coho in a few weeks. It’s cool to see all the tiny juvenile salmon leave then eventually return as a mature fish weighing in the teens if not more.
Thats Awesome Caleb, thanks for watching!
I love them smoked. Nice videos guys! Subbed to addicted fishings channel.
Nice job done with style .
Victor, did you like the Guidewear jacket you were wearing in the rain? I’m in the market for rain gear and I’ve been looking at that exact model.
you have fished with CZcams king
I'm sure you have enjoyed it millions times.
asowm video I'm jealous
But no prayer? I’m going back to Ace and Micah. 😂 That fish looked SOOO good.
Love the video keep up the good work greets from Holland
Thank you!
Great video salmon fishing
Salt , pepper and Dillweed is how I go.
Some sort of oil helps with that foil situation.
Columbia river sports some huge sturgeon ya'll should try some sturgeon fishing
BEAUTIFUL FISH
