- Several news outlets have published articles with new gameplay details on Funko Fusion. These outlets saw a demo of the game which showed gameplay of The Thing & Shaun of the Dead levels. We learn that the game will feature cameo levels, no splitscreen co-op, a vinyl currency system, DLC, & more! Funko Fusion arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, & Xbox Series X|S on September 13th, 2024, & Nintendo Switch on November 15th, 2024!

If you told teenage me back in 2012 that they were making a game where R.J. MacReady, Nicolas Angel and He-Man teamed up to fight raptors from the Jurassic Series or killer toys I would've said "Suuuuure next thing you're gonna tell me that they're gonna make a Super Smash Bros. like game where you play as Warner Bros. characters."

RIP Splitscreen, but to be fair, a lot of (non-LEGO) modern games do seem to struggle with splitscreen in general (reduced FPS, decreased performance, etc.)
They gotta optimize!

They have revealded more pre-order bonuses, although I hope they are digital to reserve there.
Yeah I'm waiting for more information to come out about those bonuses before I talk about them.
As happy as I am that I can play that game by myself, I am disappointed that this game will not enable local multiplayer. So I guess I will be playing that game casually until they enable local multiplayer. At least I can play Funko Fusion by myself if I want to, going as far as playing it on a bus or train ride.
Yep, Switch version will be good for that, or on Steam Deck or something!
I really was hoping for a scan in feature where you could scan in your funko pops and play as them

No
No. Star Wars is owned by Disney, one of Universal's competitors. From what I know, so far it's only going to be Universal pictures owned properties. King Kong will also not be in it since he's now owned by Legendary who work with Sony.
Maybe they should replace headshots with eyeshots?

@@shillofnothing9195I must point out that Animal Crossing: City Folk had online play only for up to four players and no local multiplayer, due to the game being released on the Wii. Funko Fusion will be like that.
