Me too! Might be the only spiders I would ever get but Iâm not super keen at feeding flies I would be afraid whey would go everywhere would have the get the non flying ones for sure

I'm a fully grown man and I almost cried when I saw Bert's face. I've never done that in relation to a cute animal before, he's so great.
I started with Jumping Spiders, then tarantulas, now I take care of all sorts of cool invertebrates. Its addicting.

Hey! I glue a lot as well and the glue on my fingers makes me absolutely nuts! If you take an nail file you can file it right off. I use a medium to light grit and file it right down, it doesnât bother my skin at all.
I saw it as a tip if you want to breed them that it's good to put their enclosures next to each other so that they can get used to each other before you let them meet.

You probably don't even remember me but I had a Veiled Chameleon, Kenny. He moved to Heaven this spring. He was a true grumpy at times buddy. He lived to be 6 yrs old.
Reptile friends were amazed he lived that long. Miss the little guyđ„ș.

As far as I know room temperature is enough, just an led light would be great because the spiders like it bright
I love the jumpies! I see lots of males here in Florida. The green fangs and black and white I fancy a lot.
FWIW: As long as it does not bite or sting -- or at least is not likely to do so -- I have no problem with insects.
I had a pet boa constrictor for a couple of years in the late 80s/early 90s.

What kind of soil do you use ?
Just for my first leopard gecko, itâs still quite small but not too bad just wanna make sure Iâm doing everything good Iâve done so much research but still feel like I need it perfect perfect, I have 3 hides, one moist, other on top of heat mat and one in middle , I have water dish, calcium/food small dish thing I have a heat lamp, and thatâs kinda it (paper towel for substrate, Iâll upgrade to 20g long eventually when itâs larger and some Coconut fiber substrate is everything I have good?

So cuuuute! I heard jumping spiders like to bask in the sun in warm walls, do you ever notice a need for them for a little sun and warmth? Or is that just south American spiders? Curious
Not particularly but the reptile room is generally quite nice and warm, so I think heat wise theyâre happy, but I did notice a big change when I added the LED. I only had Betty a few days without it, but she wasnât as active or as hungry without it.

Hmm Iâve never really explored that too much, just because Iâm a tad worried of increasing the humidity too much, but I think thatâs why I like air plants because you can take them out and water them separately. I know Serpa Designs did a planted tank for his spood.

The sudden jump just freaks me out too much. Otherwise I think they are great. But the sudden jump? Show-stopper I'm afraid. I am thinking of getting a black tree skink. That's about as active as I want my pets to be!
âșïž yeah ngl I had Bertie out last night and he suddenly jumped onto a black surface and for a split second I thought Iâd lost him đ itâs a tad easier when theyâre bigger and you can keep track of them better haha

Yeah I might have to put something between the tank đ not sure if Iâll breed just because they produce soooo many babies đ and theyâre tiny haha but maybe Iâll look into it.

They could bite, but with how tiny jumping spidersâ fangs are, it probably wouldnât even break the skin.
Yeah Iâve never felt them if theyâve tried. I read that theyâre too weak to break the skin.
