While Stranger Things season 3 won’t be hitting Netflix until sometime this summer, some of the stars of the show (Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink and Caleb McLaughlin) were recently in Brazil to attend CCXP and the day after their panel, I got to sit down with them for a fun interview. Since I knew going in that they wouldn’t be able to say too much about Stranger Things season 3, I decided to start the interview off by getting them to play “Get to know your Stranger Things cast member” with some fun questions, including what’s their favorite app on their phone, current favorite video game, favorite band, what TV show they’d like to guest star on, what they “borrowed” from set, and a few questions from someone they knew. In addition, towards the end of the interview, they talked about what it was like reading the season 3 scripts for the first time, what it’s like on set when they have to do the cool but time-consuming camera set-ups, and how many scripts they typically get before shooting begins.

I really like the interviewer in this video. He wasn’t trying to pressure the kids to give small spoilers or anything. He was being respectful and saying he doesn’t wanna get them in trouble. Usually with stranger things interviews the interviewer tries to get them to spoil stuff or asks boring questions like “wHatT suPerPoweR wouLd yoU lIke tO HavE.”

It didn't help that season 3 was a year late. That's why they look so much older. Season 1 was filmed in 2015 and 2 was in 2016. They didn't start filming season 3 until April 2018.

They should just have these three together in interviews all the time since they’ve always been the ones that get talked over the most.
Are you serious? This was one of the most awkward interviews of the cast. Caleb got talked over and looked uncomfortable, which is weird because he's usually really chill. And it wasn't cool because he was usually the one who always tried to include Sadie and Noah when they were excluded. Noah's energy didn't match the interviewer and the vibe was just awkward. I don't know if it was the interviewer, the fact that they were tired or them as a group but it doesn't work here.
I think that Caleb/Gaten and Millie/Noah are way better groups. Sadie works well with both groups too. Honestly, Sadie/Caleb, Noah/Caleb and Sadie/Noah work very well too. But them as a trio in this interview at least was just cringy.
Yep, I’m serious. There are awkward moments because the kids themselves are awkward-like a lot of people. Caleb is smiling throughout the interview so he seems pretty chill. Cringey would be Millie trying to outdo her co-stars in most group interviews or not getting when people are joking but trying to be funny- in all fairness she was probably coached to get the attention on herself and she’s getting better. But again Noah and Sadie are a little awkward, but not cringey. Noah often looks to Caleb and waits for him to answer before he answers.
