Wait a sec. Nobody is allowed to call an Impulse RS a “piece of crap” except for me.
Monty?
HE'S LEGENDARY
I think the Pontiac G3 has the best odds here. Considering what G3 it really is. So the availability of parts would be pretty easy.
Worth noting that the Impulse was actually Isuzu built, and the Geo Storm/Asuuuuuuna Sunfire were the captive import versions. GM mostly just slapped the Geo emblem and bumper on it.
Just leaving a comment because I love this racing series so much. Keep commenting and liking so more people get to know it.
I have been looking for an Asuna Sunfire for Lemons for years, even up here in Canada they are scarce as hell. Side note, I have an M100 Lotus, I am THIIIIIIIIIIS close to caging it for Lemons
I've only ever seen 1 or 2 impulse RS for sale ever. cool little car, shame they were so rare
0:25 calling it before reveal, Isuzu Impulse RS! YES!
I know a guy who knows a guy who has one with a Cadillac HT4900 in it. Shockingly it is a race car, but also not built for lemons. Unsurprisingly it is also broken.
Regarding what's next, the only new car I ever bought was a 1981 Ford Escort SS. I never knew it would become a LeMons dream car! Where is it now......
Passive rear steering. For some cars, that is a high mileage game level prize where the bushings are worn out.
Heh, I raced that car once. It was good to drive, but it was having ignition issues under boost that weekend so it only had about 50hp. Good times.
Jake E. Lee, guitarist for Ozzy. Not his real name. Most recognized for "Shot in the Dark."
So rad!
When is the Nola video coming out
Mes amis, you are remiss in not longing to have a Hudson Italia compete !
Find a 1992 Impulse XS with the larger 1.8L engine.
Celica All-trac turbo?
A friend raced one of those in SCCA SSGT in 1991. It was easily the most complicated car any of us had ever worked on and I previously raced a Peugeot 505 Turbo in SSB! It had a center diff with CV joint connections so the total CV count was 12! The electronics were over the top for the era controlling the boost and center diff. And yes, I love the idea!
Y U RUNE KLASSIK!?
H'aint no Lotus Elan that were a piece o junk! Sheet, I iz jes knowed thet....
