The K24Z3 and K24Z7 can now utilize the K20 Type S Oil Pump with the help of this kit from PRL Motorsports. Huge thanks to PRL Motorsports for supporting the K-Swap Camaro Build!

Check out this 1999 Hugger Orange Chevy Camaro SS - known all around the world as the HOSS.
In 1999 General Motors (GM) only made 375 HOSS Camaros with T-Tops, out of those 375 only 174 were Manual 6 speed cars! This is an SLP (Street Legal Performance) Build #1373 Born December 4th, 1998.
Hugger Orange was only used by GM in 1969 and 1999. They only used this paint color on the Camaro, never to be used again! Now its K-SWAPPED with a K24Z3 Big Turbo FULL Quarter mile track car build!

This is a badass build I just saw someone is doing this with a C6 too but your engine sits way further back the spark plugs are gonna be a bitch but this is gonna be cool when it runs
Thanks man! I have since repositioned the engine further forward using an engine plate. Just been working my tail off at work to get more parts to finish.

I got 4pistol oil pump with the prl kit
And I saw that you plug the 2 holes so you don’t lose oil pressure
But then I see you got this aluminum piece with the black bolt
I got all the bolts but I don’t have that aluminum piece you got

Which holes did you put the 2 spacers on? I know there is 3 bolts that holds the windage tray. 20:28

Cannot use the stock pump. Unless you want to blow it up

Is it necessary to change the position of the oil filter or it can stay on the lower block at original place?
It can stay as long as you’re NA. If Turbo then I would relocate it away from hot side

Thats gonna suck when you realize your gonna have to take the oil pump loose to get the chain on the sprocket. When you are putting on the oil pump, you have to put the chain on as you are doing it before you put the fasteners on it. Lol
It’s all good. I knew this in advance. I had the new chain for the oil pump but my tensioner didn’t arrive in time for the video thanks to fedex…

I have a stock k24z3 with 10.7:1 compression. Should I use regular gas or higher octane fuel
If turbo then go with e85 if naturally aspirated then go 93
