Mine is in transit now. Got grey and red for high visibility. Work for 2 Fire Departments. Have worn nothing but G-Shocks for over 20-years now for a reason...THEY DON’T BREAK. Pretty much everyone I know who wears a wrist watch wears a Casio. They are the Toyota of watches
Same here, mine also in transit. But if you think Toyota's are as dependable and reliable - talk to anyone who has owned a Toyota diesel in the past 6 or 7 years. They are nothing but trouble... Will NEVER buy a Toyota again. Ford Ranger in the new KING.
Travis Walker It’s a Analog digital. The main function of the watch is to know the time. All the digital aspects are secondary. In pitch black I can tell the time by looking at the hands. I agree about the measurement though. Perfect blend of function, fashion and durability while reaching a certain price point. Pay to play or be happy with the upgrade.
@@kevinhayden9030 I'm sorry, but the GA-2100 costs the same and had illumination for the digital parts as well. Same for the GA-2000. It's not hard to illuminate the digital part yet Casio won't do it. I'm not a bit fan of this watch due to the reasons I mentioned and there are people who share my criticism. IMO, the GA-2100 would be a future classic as its more popular than this.
I recently got this watch from my gf, i literally had a lots of trouble in order change the the.. Bt fortunately owing to your video i successfully manage to set accurate time
Learned a lot from the analog review you gave in the GA 2100. Great watch but the luminance really hurts the design. With the digital display was positive. Maybe that’s something they explore as this core guard line continues to grow.
Nothing annoys me more than getting scratches on a mineral face of a watch you really like.i think the design of this g shock would make the glass harder to get marks on.i know people say go for sapphire. But unfortunately they arent on g shocks.but I've heard as well they use mineral glass because it's harder to smash.
I really like the design of this watch. I was tempted to get the neo Tokyo version, after looking at it in hand, the negative display made it REALLY hard to see. Especially with the size of the digital movements. And just a nit pick, I wish they used a newer case.
I have that exact watch. It’s not as hard to see as I thought. It’s only problematic when the hands cover the two displays. But i love it. No regrets. I do recommend the neo Tokyo series. It’s just too cool for school.
@@WatchingCasio This watch doesn't have the key note feature for the Mode button to beep with each press. Might have something to do with the graphic when you change modes.

Everyone is talking about the Neo Tokyo but I think this is a future classic
Lando Cruissian I agree. Great comment.
The illumination is terrible and the measurement function is useless. It will only be a classic due to its fashion statement.

Travis Walker why must it be one or the other? I think both will be.

Nice gift! Glad you liked the video. Enjoy your watch!
Each time i see the screwdriver near the dial I get worried !

I like this ga 140 it does look like a boom box from the 90s and it shares the same case as the ga 100
Mine otw...thanks for the video man👍👍
The hands on my watch spin either way. Depending on which way is faster for the correct time. It can't just be my watch
Best Gshocks: 6900, 5600,5610,5000, GA110, GA100

Newer case? Nothing wrong with the 100 series cases.
Check this one GAS-100BMC-1A
@@NathanChisholm041 this watch would prob be too big for my wrist. But its quite a smart looking watch.i do like the design.
@@leekinesis9654 I'm sure you can pull it off! G-shocks are meant to wear big mate!

Love your channel mate!
Thanks a lot for watching!
Hi, I have bought this one, but can´t active beep every time I press mode button. Do you how to do it? Thank you!
In time mode, press and hold A to go into settings then look for something called KEY I believe. That should turn key tones on or off.

Is there a sign every time? attention
