ACADEMY NOMINATE ALFRE WOODARD!!!!❤
Woodard is one of my favorite actresses.
After spending many years as a soldier and a street cop and seeing a lot of things, I don't want the State killing people in my name.
Strapping down a human being and killing them (no matter how much they deserve it) just feels wrong to me. It's not done to protect others, you have the criminal in a cage and that's where they belong. Defense is the only reason I'm tolerant of for taking a life.
I am not religious but I was raised to be. My Pastor might have said that when we die, God isn't going to ask how many abortions we prevented, but how many needy children we comforted personally.
Personally.
But He already knows.
eh. I mean...I prefer they kill the ones that need it, rather than allowing them ANY chance to enjoy their life.
children's lives have been ruined either directly or by ruining the family all because of a rapist or murderer or kidnapper.
What about their victims? Then again I'm not surprised you'd say this. After all you were a 'legal' assassin. Which is what soldiers and police officers are.
@@pagethreemodelI'm a veteran and we are not assassins. However, I do agree with you regarding victims rights. I'm also a victims rights advocate people like him is one of the reasons we have crime. They're more concern with the criminals rights. God help you if you are a victim of a violent crime or the family members of a victim who has been murdered.

Hi there Support
I think it takes a lot of guts to be able to be a death row warden.
Grant Stoutenburg, There comes a time when there's nothing else left to lose, weather it be a person who has fallen ill and is going to die, or be put to death and in these cases when inmates on death row says, "That he didn't commit the crime." I would be inclined to believe that the Mr. Woods didn't do it. What gets me about this movie is I can't imagine how many of them died on death row only to turn out that they really didn't do the crime they were charged, and it was to late. "May God Have Mercy On Your Souls."
Bobbie Harper Capital punishment, like most systems, is a flawed system. People have died of old age on death row. Or they have gone insane because they know that eventually it will be their turn to go to the execution chamber.
@@ags5696 You're right our system is so flawed. Because two wrongs do not make it right to take a life to turn around and take somebody else's life. This movie had me in tears throughout the movie. The movie was so sad. It was just too sad I'm so sad.
Bobbie Harper Alfre is such a versatile actress. She’s played very nasty women and very vulnerable and very admirable women. In this movie, she wasn’t a bad woman, she was just a human being who’s occupation had taken a toll on her.
@@ags5696 I know shes an amazing actress! I just love her! I loved her playing in Star Trek the movie. I think it was called the Borg? Not sure? There was a line she said that made me laugh when she told Captain Picard after he got really angry and knocked all the stuff of the glass shelving. She said "Camptain you broke your tiny ship's! Lol! Did you watch that movie?
Did the interviewer just say she's been on death row?
I think she may mean she’s covered death row trials
I love this amazing actress
You can't not like this woman
