The Best Arc In Bleach!?

- Bleach has many great arcs but there is one arc that is often looked down upon which is the Fullbringer Arc. In this video, I will give my opinions on the Fullbringer arc and decide whether or not the Fullbringer arc deserves all the hate that it gets

Even though Thousand Year Blood War is my favorite arc (and not just in Bleach, across all manga I’ve read), I absolutely love this arc and it was my favorite for a while. In fact, Bleach is my favorite animanga, and the reason that is is because for me, there was never a moment where I wasn’t entertained or the momentum was lost. Soul Society, Arrancar, Fullbring, and TYBW is still my favorite stretch of manga I’ve ever read. That and almost all of Vagabond, Monster, and Jojo’s too.
As for this arc, I loved it for being the most grounded arc after SS and Arrancar, fleshed out more of Ichigo’s character, even Orihime and Chad to an extent, gave us two of the best Bleach villains imo in Ginjo and Tsukishima, an awesome climax, sick designs from Ichigo’s Fullbring and his new shikai, and provided some further lore to Bleach, such as the fullbringers themselves (knowing Orihime and Chad are) and that Soul Society’s past usage of substitute shinigami (which to an extent shows the darker side of Soul Society). It also gave us imo one of the best Bleach moments when Ginjo completely broke Ichigo, leading to Rukia and the shinigami helping out, ending in Ichigo’s new shikai.

Ginjo's motivations become more understandable once you learn his backstory in the CFYOW novels. It has a lot of stuff that Kubo wasn't able to include in the manga when it got rushed to its conclusion. Ginjo was given the Sustitute soul reaper badge by Jushiro who was given it by Tokinada Tsuniyashiro (a member of the five noble clans). The Tsuniyashiro Clan has been secretly keeping the existence of fullbringers under wraps, murdering them to harvest the Soul King fragments embedded in their soul.
Through that badge Tokinada was able to get the location of all of Ginjo's friends. He then sent assassins killing all of Ginjo's loved ones. Ginjo however survived and killed them. Tokinada then framed Ginjo making him out to have gone insane. With Ginjo he directed his anger towards Ukitake since he was the one who gave Ginjo the badge.
Ginjo by this point is consumed by revenge and wants to bring down the Soul Society no matter the cost which was why he went to such lengths with Ichigo. His revenge arc is kind of similar to Yhwach's drive for revenge. Yhwach is trying to avenge what the Shinigami did to his father, and how they distorted the world by creating the cycle of reincarnation.

People are just dumb to not like this arc. Bleach never was about saving the world but is about protecting those that you love through Ichigo's eyes. This arc is a really nice soft reboot and Ichigo is pushed to his limit, it's so powerfull to see him cry for the first time, at that moment when you truly understand him. Those who that didn't like this arc never understood Ichigo nor Bleach.
It's actually wrong since Ichigo protects those who see in danger,friends or not. He doesn't aspire in saving the world,but if people needs help,he will rush to them to help

I think 90% of the hate for this arc comes from people expecting Shonens to simply escalate the threat and powerscale every arc. I can’t tell how many times i see people “criticizing” the arc because Ichigo got weaker.
Yeah it does throw the pacing of the whole series in a way. Personally I liked that it slowed things down again, I just wish they explained fulbring more and had more history and lore to tie it to the whole story like CFYOW. Although I can see how it could frustrate some of the more average viewers to slow down so much. Overall I thought it was good and on a rewatch definitely enjoyed it more.
Me and my girlfriend (her first view) have been watching it and it has been the biggest breath of fresh air. The arrancar was so long and dragged on I couldn't wait for it to be over. This arc I want to keep watching it.
Ngl, the fact that I've heard people say that you should skip the fullbringer arc, and even with that they say that don't skip filler, which includes the Bount arc, is just stupid
I love the tonal shift of this arc. You really feel ichigo's desperation and loneliness. Always loved that aspect. When I was younger I didn't enjoy it as much, but upon subsequent watches I really enjoyed it when i got older

I love this arc... it's good, and Ichigo's Fullbring Zanpakuto set is still my favorite set of his Zanpakuto...thiugh Dangai Ichigo is still my favorite look
Fullbring arc for me ties with Soul Society arc. Those who hate it are just braindead watchers that wants to see action scenes 24/7

Ichigo through the whole series had great character writing, it's just more subtle then other main characters.

After the let down of fake home town arc, I can only watch thousand year blood war arc.
Seeing #1 and #3 fight and lose in that manner along all other fights in the fake home town.

Horrible fights:
1. Future Captain commander vs #1
2. Child captain prodigy vs #3
3. Blind former captain vs 2nd in command

Way too much talking, the hype was off the charts. I was expecting a lot.
This arc is genius but people fail to understand it.
I haven't read Bleach nor watch it, mainly because I'm still reading the MHA manga. I'll be sure to watch Bleach after I finish watching and reading MHA.

Ok, first off: this arc is not filler, and I'll fucking fist fight anyone who says the like. It is integral to the story Kubo wanted to tell, and it's why it's part of the manga. The BOUNT arc was filler, and it was ok.
Second: Ginjou Kugou was a fucking villain from the start and I really loved how he mirrored Ichigo as a character.
Thirdly: this whole series is amazing and it buggers my mind that anyone could find it atrocious.

This arc gets so much hate from ppl that dunno how to read between the lines. And honestly if you dunno how to pick up on nuances you shouldnt watch bleach bcuz its full of subtle nuances.

Nah bro, this Arc fits perfectly after the Aizen stuff and sets up tybw. It was nice dailing back the power scaling and focusing on a somewhat isolated story
