    The Waltz in C-sharp minor is the second work of Chopin's opus 64 and the companion to the Minute Waltz (Op. 64, No. 1). It was composed in 1847. Chopin dedicated this Waltz to Madame Nathaniel de Rothschild.

    This piece is pretty difficult, not because of the notes, but because of the song filled with emotion and the unique style you need to play this in. Chopin is probably my favorite classical composer because of his unique sounding pieces. Re-learning this piece right now.

      @Charlemagne no, I still haven't 😂 I have learnt other Chopin works like the Waltz Op. 69 No. 2, Nocturnes Op. 37 No. 1 and Op. 55 No. 1 and I am currently working on the Nocturne Op. 27 No. 1.

      Lemme tell you something, with classical music, every piece will be hard to learn. In order to progress you must push yourself and learn something that looks hard even if you think you may not be able to play it. I can tell you this from experience, I cannot read sheet music and I am completely self taught but since I actually pushed myself to do what I thought would be impossible I can now play a lot of Chopin masterpieces.

      @@HungryForWater when I first started playing piano I tried learning Hungarian rhapsody no.2 😂 I managed to get to page 3 some how, and now I'm learning this piece the più mosso part is so difficult but I'm working my way through it😁

    Would you recommend that I learn this Waltz? I mastered and finished Nocturne Op.9 No.2 in 1 month, mastered and finishedTraumerei in 4 days and can play other lesser known pieces. I am 14 amd started taking piano playing seriously just this year. Would I have some difficulties while trying to learn this piece?

      You might find some difficulties, indeed, but with some practise you will learn it, you just need to love the piece

    I loved this video, also the performance was nice, but it wasn't the best, whatsoever.Because the left hand wasn't enough sustained, and thus sounded almost like jazz, the romantic sense of interpretation carried in the waltz was taken away. No matter what, I still love it. But the d flat major part (piu mosso) was still interpreted well...

      Ali Mouayed pianoREADER's upload is completely (mind my language) sh#t. No sense of rubato, the Più Mosso is just *fast* and has some little mistakes too... PianoCzarX's is godly next to it!
