I have a wooden shooting table with two stainless steel eye bolts sticking out the top on each side of my table & I ratchet strap my sled down at the front of the sled. Doesn’t move at all!
Thanks for sharing. Looks like the cost went up having to do it that way. I think that shotgun shot that comes in bags would have been cheaper. Anyhow I will know later this month when I purchase a rest like the one you used in this video. I have shot bags with lead shot left from reloading shot shells. It was nice of you to share the fact that your zipper bags did not close all the way. They do look nice, but if they don't seal, they are not worth buying.
I appreciate any info, this is all about filling those bags for the best price. Please let us know where you can get 18.5 LBS for $20! That would be great. I did the math and those BBs weigh about 4.5 lbs per bottle and they run around $8.50 at Academy so it would take 4 bottles to get to 18lbs costing $34 plus tax, and it would take 11 bottles to get to 50 lbs costing $93 plus tax. The would be good info for those that need less weight, even though it cost more per lbs, overall they could save money by buying less weight. Thanks.
Soft weights. Especially Lead shot, will Absorb much more recoil simply recalls the loose media mitigates the recoil and it can’t transfer through it as easily as it can through any solid matter.
Put a zip-lock freezer bag inside your caldwell bag before filling, then add weight. I saw this hack on another vid.

Crosman bb's work well. Two 6k bottles of bbs will fill a bag at 18.5 lbs for right around $20 minus price of bag.
