- The PT-91 Twardy is a maybe tank e well-suited to the type of warfare in eastern Ukraine. It's better armor protection and powerful gun make it an effective weapon against the old Russian tanks.
Poland has sent several PT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine in recent months as part of its ongoing military assistance program. The tanks have been deployed to the front lines, which have been used to support Ukrainian government forces in their efforts to repel Russian attacks.

Waste of weapons
Obviously the war in Ukraine is an excellent test bed for all kinds of military hardware for many countries to evaluate their military hardware. It also goes for air defence systems, but countries are hesitant to supply jet fighters.

It's basically a T-72 - BUT - it has a new engine with additional 400 Hp (or so) - more - which gives it an excellent "kick". PLUS it has a new f&c-sys and new targeting and observational cameras... though it lacks a bit in firepower, compared to newest russian models. One positive aspect more, are apparently those "ERAWA" bricks, that seem to work quite well. STILL - the biggest improvement (even before we started sending them to Ukraine) was it's speed, cross-country capability and acceleration. Sometimes the best protection is to be faster and more agile than adding tons of steel.
The voice keeps mispronouncing Polish.
I think, they use one of the AI Text to Speech. They sound more natural, but still kind of monotone. I might be wrong but some connections between words (especially when the lector needs to pronounce abbreviations) still sound kind of artificial.
Yea, dexiPL is right, it’s Ai and it’s not perfect, that’s why I wouldn’t subscribe or take this info seriously. If you can’t take the time to record yourself reading, you don’t deserve my attention!

What are you blabbering about... Indeed Ukraine reiceived previously a small batch of PT-91's. And we will recieve 116 M1A1 FEP, formerly used by US Marines.
These are not "old post gulf war", but rather relatively modern tanks. More than equivelent of Leopard 2A4, and more capable machines overall than what was sent to Ukraine.
Most notably these can fire DU ammunition, and US approved of large sale of DU ammunition for Poland including their most modern shells - which is not something US sells to regular export cusomers in general. Shows that US really cares, although keeping it's own interest in mind at the same time - basically anything we want - as long as we can pay for it, US is willing to sell. Even the cutting edge stuff they are just introducing themselves.
