    The Jeep Looking good, it does not look like a 2008. I just got a 2014 JKU Sahara Polar edition and I love it. I need to get 35" tires, LED headlights and a soft top and much more... always something to upgrade. Good luck on the sale, Cheers!

    Awesome videos! I have a 2009 Jeep JK in the same color with a fastback look as well. Your Jeep looks sick!

    Do you recommend the 1310 for rear as well? I’ve read that some people go 1310 in front and 1350 for the rear. Running 35s as well. Just looking for some better insight before I make the purchase.

    Great videos. I’m looking to purchase a 2 door 2010 3.8 manual and would like your opinion on the 3.8 performance. Seen a few positive comments on forums but also a number of negatives. As you have the 3.8 your view would help. I’ll be using it for mostly off road and occasional camping trips pulling a trailer weight of 1200kg max, cheers,

      Hey! I found that the power was fine with the stock tires, but with 35s it seemed to struggle at high speeds. I never did any towing, but I would have been uncomfortable doing so above 60mph anything large. Again i think alot if that had to do with the tires and the fact that it was a sahara (rubicons have a lower gear ratio so can Handel larger tires better). I have been driving a 3.6 with 35s for a while, and the extra hsp really shows, so if your planning on doing any long towing trips and putting larger tires on the jeep It might be worth holding out for a 3.6!

      @@TacticalJK thanks for the feedback. I managed to take it out again today and hook up the trailer for a test run, actually was not bad at all, granted the tyres are only 30’s, which is fine for me - plus 2 inch lift. Actually found my trailer is well weighted and has 35’s on it, it felt normal on the highway speeds, up some hills was not a strain. Load was about 900kg. I know the motor has had a few updates done and performance exhaust fitted which may give better hp and torque. So I’ve decided to buy it., cheers from Australia.

    You installed 35s on your jk. What size lift? Spacers? Or a 4.5 set back wheel? Respectfully, thanks.

    Did you use the stocked rubicon wheels and put a larger tires? If so, what tire size can i go up for? I have 2018 JLR and not sure if I can change the tire itself to 35x12.5 on it’s stocked wheels

    • @TacticalJK
      @TacticalJK  Před 4 lety +2

      Yes those are the stock rubiwheels. I am running STT pro 315/70/R17, which I believe are 35x12.5. Also, i have seen people run 37s with these no problem. The problem is that the stock wheels are 7.5in wide, which is bellow the recommended width of the tires. Because of this, some tire shops won’t mount them. I have had two sets mounted at a cooper tire service center no problem, but one guy told me his tire shop refused to mount the same setup on his jeep

    nice ride bro, i have the same jeep, colour and year, i got 35s MAXXIS MT BIGHORN, but im stuck between a 2.5 inch and 3 inch teraflex lift. any recommendations?

    • @TacticalJK
      @TacticalJK  Před 4 lety

      Thanks! So I actually have been running the 2.5in teraflex lift on this Jeep since 2016, but removed it and put it on my new build before making this video. I personally like the look of it, as I think going to big with the lift makes the 35s look small. And, if you regret not going with the full 3, you can also add spacers later for cheap. Here is the lift kit I got (this one has the updated shocks tho) amzn.to/3cInV09. Anyway, I think your going to be super happy with either, as Teraflex makes some great stuff! Check out my instagram for TONS of pics of the green Jeep with the 2.5in lift, all pics from the last few years are running that settup! Let me know if you have any questions about my experience with the lift!

      I've just seen this, hopefully not too late but i just installed a 2.5 inch teraflex lift, and by far the best lift ever, rides almost like stock and isnt rough at all.

    What gears are you running with those 35s? I just ordered some for mine and am concerned about the 3.21s.

    • @TacticalJK
      @TacticalJK  Před 3 lety

      I believe they were 3.21, but I never was able to confirm that 100%. They were stock. The jeep drove fine with the gearing it had, it could go 90+ and you could still pass and everything (just not quick passes). Definitely no the fastest, but I would say putting on 35s didn’t change it much from stock.

      jeep recommends you to run 4.10s I believe if you are running over 33

    What did you do to fit the 35 tire on the back door

    • @TacticalJK
      @TacticalJK  Před 2 lety

      I have a spare tire relocation bracket. This is the one I am running, but I think teraflex makes a better & cheaper option. amzn.to/3pbRK29

    You put a used soft top and some beat to chit tires on it and called it a build. What is this world coming to
