Daisy, Claire and Hayley are a trio of best friends who are celebrating their last summer together before Hayley and her mom move away to Australia. Claire is upset about her friend moving but Daisy wishes her well since Australia could be a new and fun experience. One night, there is a storm and it washes up a mermaid from the ocean into Claire's family's pool. The mermaid is named Aquamarine is she is a curious and cheery person who is excited to learn about new things. Claire and Hayley are freaked out to meet a mermaid, but Daisy is excited.
