  • I made a knitted bath mat from old t-shirts!
I used 3.5 balls of t-shirt yarn (1 ball = 1 shirt) and 1 ball of DK/light worsted acrylic yarn to make a mat for my toilet room. I love how it turned out, the colours are pretty and it's super thick and cushy (perfect for keeping feet warm). I might make a bigger one for my bathroom too (:

Cool! After watching your last video I decided to cut two old t-shirts I had, my plan was to make two individual tablecloths but I underestimated the amount of yarn that a small t-shirt would give me, so in the end what I could knit was something that functions more like a trivet. Still I use them all the time and I really enjoyed knitting with t-shirt yarn! Will definitely do it again in the future so thanks for the inspo!!

thats such a good idea, i love the way it turned out.
-if you wanted to make it a lil longer maybe you could pick up some of the cast on edges and just knit another section maybe?
