I’m so blessed to have found your lovely paintings! Your tutorials have helped me greatly! I enjoy creating clouds. Since I converted from acrylic painting to watercolor the journey has been amazing !! I had no idea about the depth of techniques used to accomplish that work , that when finished and done correctly it’s so satisfying!!!! I’ve only been painting with watercolor for 2 years and I’m just beginning to understand how to use the paper properly as far as paintings of clouds, snow, glimmer on top of water etc. I am doing my best not to overwork the paper! You have helped me so much with that and more through your other paintings. One of my first experiences watching you paint was of a thermos with a bowl of eggs on a table!! I was hooked on your master skills since!! The blocking, layered saturation and highlights are just a few of the many techniques you helped me greatly with!! Thank you so very much!! If you ever do an online course I would much appreciate it if you notified me!! I turned the bell on so I would be notified when any new work comes out!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉You are fabulous, not to mention you paint everything I enjoy painting!!!! Oh happy day!!
I am so glad to have done some videos that help you on your creative journey. Keep practicing. The difference between a talented artist and a beginner is simply practice. I hope to do some courses soon - as soon as I get better being an "on screen" personality.
I know, they have to have that spontaneous, irregular, natural look and feel. They can’t be forced. I have messed up a lot of landscapes within the first few minutes because of the clouds in the sky. Thanks for watching. Keep practicing.
I do too. That's why I chuckled as I was painting them... I see them all the time in the sky and was thinking to myself if anyone got what I was painting.
Very nice! Thank you!
You bet!

@@prof_nelson I think you do a fantastic job!!! Please don’t stop!!
Glad I found you. Clouds are a pain! No matter what you use but with watercolour they look much softer! 😊

My pleasure. Thanks for watching
Great!!!🤗
Thank you! 😃
Thank you for this great tutorial. May I ask you at what angle do you tilt your board as I see the wash flowing towards you.
My drafting table tilt isn't that much - about a 70 degree angle.
I like to see vultures flying in the sky.
