What an absolutely disgusting interview. Instead of giving exposure to the plight of the hostages, Briana thought it better fit to roll her eyes and attack the sister of a victim.

I don't think she attacked her. She asked about her sister several times. I think Brianna was pressing her about her non response when asked if she agreed with Bibi's approach to freeing the hostages and whether it actually seems to be a top priority or not for him.

You have to have a stance on policy regardless. At some point they're going to believe propaganda thier own government spoon feed them or go by thier own instinct or against the grain and concede to get thier family members back. Also Bri said 6 months ago all of the original production team was pushed out due to hostile working conditions or fired and she had been getting severe pressure for her coverage on gaza.

I do not understand why this guest was treated the way she was. She was not supporting Israel as a government, but anybody with a brain knows Hamas is evil as well. Two things can be true. What Hamas did on 10/7 was barbaric, and Israel has crossed the line in their response. Admitting one should not negate the other. I can feel for the people of Gaza and feel for the families of these hostages. I cannot imagine the hopelessness she is feeling. I don't think Bri lost her job because of this interview, but I think it was a culmination of things. Robby tried to get her to admit the October attack was horrific, but she would not. You can support peace in Gaza without being anti-Semetic. Bri sometimes would come very close to that line. I think her treating this guest with no compassion or empathy and rolling her eyes at her was the final straw.
