Yes the Mercedes that year had real character to it! The sound really winds down off the throttle, like around 8:41, and then when sounds glorious when it winds back up again.
I was never a fan of grooved tyres or narrow cars after 1998 but in hindsight they're the absolute best to watch in quali. Other than the incredible sound they're so darty and skittish and look incredibly hard to drive. Today's cars just look like they're on rails and even if they are faster they don't look it!
F1 ve svojí největší době,motory super V10,normální reklama na tabák.Žádná nesmyslná omezení ,tak jak to má být,doufám,že se to vrátí až ty nesmyslné opatření zrušíme všude.Současná F1 vūbec není zajímavá a až zakážou reklamu na návykové látky,nevím co bude Redbul dělat....nebo povolí reklamu na tabák a bude vše jinak,už aby to bylo

Holy Shit. It's been so long ago since I watched the 2000 season, but GODDAMN those Mercedes V10s screamed beautifully.

The cars nowadays are beautiful and marvels of technology, incredibly fast and powerful. Nothing compares to the V10s of this era.
