    Thank you! For me, this is one of the best instruction vids. I am a 30+ year white water canoe paddler (and ACA instructor), and a 50+ year longboarder. so, trying to combine the 2 skills to hopefully extend my surfing career. Your paddle techniques are the same as in canoeing, and especially where to end the stroke. And I would call that a "cross-bow draw" turning stroke you use, which I had not seen in any other SUP vids.. It would allow a sharper radius than long sweep strokes on the other side. The key seems to be in the foot work, and being relaxed with that. I also liked the sprint demo. Acceleration is all important in ww canoeing...
    In a canoe I paddle on the right, but I am a goofy footer on a surf board, so not sure how that will work out!

    do you switch at staggered position at both sides when changing the paddling side too? or stick to the stronger side?
