    I think a shift of feet should go along with the shift of sides if you are going to stagger your stance.

    Great tips thank you . Don't you think it can be unbalancing for the body in the long term to have always the same foot behind the other ? I ask because i notice you don't switch feet when switching hands . Is it a position you are always keeping/ or just for a maximum speed rate like a sprint ?

    I do sup surf. It seems like the more my weight is centered over the board by keeping feet together the more speed I can get.

      agreed, feet together... plus, bend at knees, and push board down so it rises and is at top of water when the next stroke starts, driving blade in with stomach, shorter strokes higher cadence.

    does this create strain on your lower back?
