Persistent spot on the tip of my nose (where my nose hits my cup lid) was biopsied as this GR. I tried removing the spot for over a year. Derm last June said staph, but I knew it wasn’t & still treated w/ Mupirocin for a week. Derm recently sliced it off. I am a 3c cc survivor, IgM MGUS, & UCTD.

Is granuloma caused by auto immune

Granulomas have many different causes: Infection. Foreign material. Autoimmune/immune mediated. Medication reaction. Idiopathic. And others. It’s complicated!
