A ghetto that is only confined to a neighborhood or a community is a slang Virgin which is a bad or gang neighborhood. A ghetto created by the government is not just confined to a neighborhood or a community. It's an entire town or an entire city or even worse the entire country like the holocaust in subrogation which are both ghettos corrected by the government. If the whole country was not a ghetto then you never lived in a ghetto created by the government and you never have. And white people and Mexican are from the hood to I'm white and I'm from the ghetto. Eminem is white and he's from the ghetto. When it's only confined to a neighborhood or community it not a race thing and just because someone says you're too hood or too ghetto that does not mean that they're being racist.

I'm a product on side projects (Ida B. Wells Homes). The city is so segregated, you can see the borders of neighborhoods in clear sight.
Integration is the Great Failed Social Experiment. It looked good on paper, but that's not how most people want to live. People voluntarily segregate, and when some area is forced to integrate, it will eventually segregate again.

Every country has ghettos. Something she doesn't want to admit. Our country had Chinese, polish, Italian, and Irish ghettos. (Probably more than that) those were all discriminated against.

3) become the police, politicians, & city planners of their own neighborhoods to change the scenery into an upscale affordable place.
4) men need to protect & provide love, leadership, & guidance for the families they create. Women need to be classy ladies again.
5) the people need to learn about & practice having Dignity & self control
6) keep the neighborhoods they move into maintained, walkable🏡 and 🧼 clean.
Not just Chicago but every major city. Chicago's racist redlining, blockbusting, and urban renewal policies became the bedrock for emulation in all major cities across the United States. Great video!

All this time I was born and raised in Chicago w/o this knowledge. They don't tell us these things we have to go seek it. But the way the system is set up we don't even know until someone else brings it up or an elder passes the info down. There is so much that goes on in my city and the ones who built it have no real connection. I/m doing my work now but man, i wish i was aware of this info as a tator tot.

My understanding of projects and section 8 is supposed to be temporary. We were on public housing for many years and blessed to get out of the ghetto. You have to set your own goals to live with the Johnsons. Resources are there if you want to better yourself.

Ghettos actually are the modern day Democratic plantations.... you find these 5 facets in them
1. High rate of violence
2. Hight rates of single motherhood (no father in the household)
3. High rate of government dependency (Welfare)
4. Broken or dilapidated housing
5. Nihilism and despair.
That is due to the culture of certain people and not politics. In many places in the world, your family name gets shamed if you commit a crime. Whereas in black America, your praised for being “gangster” if you steal, lie, sell drugs, murder etc.

Imagine if every 1 Superstar Rapper, Actor, Athlete, AstroPhysician was to lead the way in their own hood by adopting a Building, Park, Business Center, and silently financing their renovation while the people take pride in their home, their hood, their Community Garden, Community Center, On Time Transportation System, thriving businesses. If the top 1% would just invest in their own backyard, what an amazing, energizing & inspirational boost that would be for the community & its members, it would be a model that could become the standard & lead us all on the path to equality.
AMERICAN APARTHEID must end, the corrupt principles found in the Slave Codes & Jim Crow Laws still operate throughout our institutions. How can everyone be considered equal when children in poor communities do not receive the same high quality, free, public education as children in wealthier communities. Doesn't anyone realize these are all our children, America's Children & they will grow up to be American Adults, successful members of the community that contribute to the economy or not successful, it is up to us as a nation to recognize, to equalize, to remove the barriers, to stop the failing public school to prison pipeline.
We must stop allowing the imprisonment of poor & desperate people trying to stay alive & support their families. We must stop allowing law enforcement to use deadly force on people who are innocent, unarmed, and guilty only of trying to survive in this unfair world where 1% possess 85% of the wealth of the entire nation & no one seems to realize why & at the expense of who.

You forgot about the fact that there were Chinese ghettos, Italian ghettos, Irish ghettos, and polish ghettos. The best way to get out of the ghetto is actually pretty simple. Dont have a baby out of wedlock. Get married and stay married. (2 people income) finish high school.
