One of the saddest but humbling experiences was when I left Los Angeles on the 10 East back to Florida. I would Love to one day be able to make my return back to Santa Monica!

Love your road trip videos! What are some of your favorite snacks to munch on while your driving?
Thank you so much! I usually like to take homemade food at the beginning of the trip like rice balls and fried chicken (czcams.com/video/HEfW9PyoLk8/video.htmlsi=kfqN1YWfRKuiqRRk). Then I have granola bars, Doritos Cool Ranch, Starbucks Double Shot... and if I run out of those, I always try to find a Whataburger :)
Love your videos, I have one question I have a problem heights is there any bridges than rival the skyway bridge on this journey on highway 10.I live in Tampa fl and I will be doing this trip.
Hi there - thank you so much! The only bridge I can think of on this journey is the one in Louisiana but it's not nearly as high as the Skyway bridge, so I think you'll be ok. Have a fun and safe trip!!
I will be driving with my adult son from Houston to Anaheim in mid December and love watching your videos. We will stop over at Ft. Stockton and Tucson both to and from. I would love to do a solo trip one day but the thought makes me nervous. Where did you eat in Ft. Stockton? Have you ever eaten at K-Bob's? Also, thanks for the tip about Iexit. I just downloaded it.

I'm so happy to hear that you enjoy these videos - thank you!😀 In Fort Stockton, the last time I ate at Mi Casita and it was great Mexican food. I've also ate at B's Family Dining and they were pretty good too - friendly staff as well. I have not eaten at K-Bob's because they had mixed reviews on Yelp. Glad the tip on I-Exit helped! It's an excellent app.

I always book my accommodations ahead of time.
Are there any unexpected stops? Like check points?

I stay on Interstate 10.

YES!! Hope you'll do it. It's a rewarding experience. I was actually super excited when I did my first cross-country trip😁
When’s a good timing to drive to California?
Spring and fall would be great times to drive to California!

I book hotels ahead of time
I am traveling from Orlando to Redding , Ca . Is it best going through Phoenix and or through Las Vegas.
I have not driven through Las Vegas on this route. I usually go through Phoenix and it's a smooth ride.

YESSS!!! Spy Family is so fun! Chainsaw Man is a totally different vibe, but great as well.
Did you come into contact with any border patrol station ?
I believe there was one around New Mexico or California but they just wave you through

I love to road trip but the last five years we have been going to Orlando Fl from Houston and stopping in Destin for a couple of days on the way back...lol
