The flooding issue is the float in the carb switch it to a brass float and set float abit low and all will be good. We have exact same boat just refinished the engine cover in ours

Perfect! Will be doing that soon unless it gets changed to a Holley 4 barrel maybe wake it up a little 😉

I do want to replace my guages but looks like I need to pull apart the entire dash and steering wheel to get back there.

how do you plan on solving your tach not showing a value? I have the same issue on my Bayliner.

I was going to look into the wiring at the distributor if that’s good it’s got to be the gauge I would think
