Sonic has been through way too much, good and bad. He needs a break, more than all of us.
honestly it is kinda wild how his story goes. Especially with the newest sonic, you can very well tell that his character is just tired of it all and he's much more "grown up" than his earlier titles. He's a bit edgier, not really trying to go for cheap laughs anymore and clearly is just ready for all the fighting to end and for himself to be able to take a break.
"His story only ends, when he stops running..." But as long as we run with him, he will run forever. We are the chaos emeralds he needs to be super.

Growing up with a Sega Dreamcast, this hits hard. When I was 8, I had my first experience with this blue hedgehog. It was Sonic Adventure. An amazing experience for me at the time. Still an incredible game to this day. Then you have the sequel to sonic adventure. I think we had a GameCube by that point, so we got Sonic Adventure 2 Battle that holiday season! Improving on the core mode of the game with a competition mode, it was amazing. We didn’t get Sonic Heroes, or Shadow The Hedgehog. Now, I’m very happy about that, but back then, I actually really wanted the little game! What we did get was a copy of Sonic Advance. So excited to play one of- no, my favorite video game character’s games on the go.
I took a break from getting some sonic games for a while, and. then Sonic Unleashed came out. And that was where my childhood experience with the blue blur stops.
Of course I still play Sonic to this day, but…
Thanks Sega, for making some awesome games with the hedgehog!

The year was 1991. I had a Sega genesis and a Sonic 1 cartridge. I slide it in and turn on the console press start and hear Green Hill Zone music for the first time ever.
Looking back on all of it now it hits different than it did back then. Sonic has grown since the days of SATAM and AoSTH and even managed to make Robotnik into a pingas meme. Glad to have lived through Sonics entire life. Sega before Sonic I remember a different short lived mascot.

as someone who's been a fan of sonic for awhile now, this hits harder, knowing just how much our favorite blue hedgehog and his friends have grown and changed, and we know he'll keep getting older, he was there for alot of our childhoods, our teens, and now our adult years, i didnt get into his games until i was about 12 years old, for me, its been 9 years, and im glad to see just how far the series has come, im sure everyone else is too, some games may not have been good, and others great, but im sure we'll have alot more good than bad

I’ve only discovered sonic about half a decade ago. Decided to play it, and really enjoyed it. Then I decided to play some of the other games, and I felt that it’s a special franchise too, like up there with Mario and Pac-Man. And while I may have not played it as a child, it definitely was a great franchise to grow with while I was a teen.

Dang, this hits hard, as a kid I got the classic collection on my DS and I still have it. Now I’ve played a good few sonic games and this video just ‘opens your heart’. I’m glad I was here for this game to ‘reach for the stars’ and honestly I can’t wait to see what it’s future will be like. There’s nearly ‘endless possibilities’. Either way, I can’t wait to see how sonic and ‘his world’s’ adventures continue. I hope sonic continues to grow and ‘live and learn’
