I did this event and found that it lacked the atmosphere youd get in other races - maybe because it was a late start. Congrats on the win!
Yeah I agree, atmosphere wasn’t the best! Did feel like quite a weird race but like you say I reckon it was down to the late start. Can’t imagine what it would have been like doing the full distance through the night!

It was weird I can’t lie, usually finishing the run at the hottest part of the day in most triathlons, this one was dark and cold haha 😂 and thanks mate!
