its not even fair how beautiful this album is every time
Peroxide is about being black in Sweden and the majority of people being white and about how people would judge him or think he is scary "No peroxide, I stay dark" is about him trying to avoid the sun as a kid cause he didnt want his skin to be barker or stand out also peroxide can bleach skin its him coming to terms with being different.
Same for blue eyes its about how everyone he knows is white and has blue eyes he feels left out/different than them.
I should have made the connection with where he grew up! Thank you!

actually "i stay dark" is him just saying he's not gonna use peroxide and he's gonna stay dark skinned, not literally staying in the dark to avoid the sun
Im not really invested into the lyrics but i do listen to few drain songs. I always thought he meant rocks as in just being him kicking rocks, kinda like in own world just playing with actual rocks. i know this is like ultra boomer thing to think about but this really helped me feel his meaning with the song. Thankyou
a lot of e is centered around eccos ketamine use and the experience of getting high of it (like the feeling of being unable to move ur limbs as referenced in AAA powerline) and being addicted to it (like him constantly talking about how much he need it but also how he cant handle it in sugar and diesel). he refers to the drug as "rocks" and "crystals" since crushing ketamine rocks and sniffing them is the way he consumes it (hence the double k crystals kiss my nose in calcium). A lot of people also miss that he also mentions ODing in sugar and diesel, and how he is embarrassed by it in front of his friends who see him as an "experienced drug user". The lyrics are pretty cryptic and confusing at times but most of them is about him exploring his vulnerability and being more honest with himself

@@papasquat08 sorry for old comment pinging or whatever but alot of the lyrics are also related to his experience growing up in sweden as a mixed race person, and feeling alienated because of it(peroxide where he feels stared at and judged, fragile etc)

Theres some references about how it was for him to grow up black in sweden, like 'no peroxide i stay dark' and 'all my friends got blue eyes' because everyone around him is white basically and it makes him feel isolated!
Yep pretty much the meaning of the whole album, isolated "all my friends got blue eyes" and longing to fit in "dip my face in acid" while trying to be himself "no peroxide I stay dark" accepting the situation and moving on (Time)

AAA Powerline hypnotizes you, freezing you in time. Kind of like how some people explain being high on Ketamine, a drug Ecco2k uses. "Ziptied up can't move my arms," is usually thought to be Ecco referencing how using Ket can impair certain motor functions usually using your arms. The "car" much like the beat is just taking us somewhere in the backseat. We don't know where but it's steady.
Ah! Totally makes sense. I don't know anything about K, so that explains my take on things. Really, it paralyzes your limbs? I gotta go do some reading on it. I don't think I'd like that.

Most of the lyrics in the album are metaphors for drugs or about his past experiences with drugs/addiction and calcium is not talking about a girl but about his relationship with drugs.
Also u would absolutely love Bladee & Ecco2K (live) on NTS youtube where IMO all of the songs he performs are infinitely better and more fleshed out than anything he did in the studio.

AAA Powerline is supposed to represent “k-holing” which is when you do too much ketamine and are stuck in a cycle you can’t break for an uncomfortably long period of time

I always interpreted Ecco’s call to “security” to be a tongue in cheek wordplay about wanting to just have some easy solution in moments of feeling insecurity-hence why he sees other people being so “perfect” “I wish that I was perfect/security!!!”.
