Considering that 5 star crest is in dedication to the passing of their friend take the 4th star and redundancy of “Death is Beautiful” in a more positive light! They are celebrating his life through the 5 sections of the song. That is how I have come to understand it at least. Notice how each section is significantly different then the last. It’s on purpose to show the cycle. They 100% are not telling the fans and listeners to kts haha

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was about the cycle of life and death, how each gives the other meaning, that death is needed so new life can grow. But just stating "death is beautiful" is way too easy to interpret by someone with suicidal tendencies to say, "yep, let's do this, then!"

Man I absolutely love your open-minded approach. You're my parents' age but if I would play this album to them they would be like: "turn that crap off" and laugh at me. It's beautiful that you enjoy this type of music and you can understand it, you can really relate to young people's mindset. Love your Bladee reactions! Keep up the good work man
I can understand their reaction, because they don't see the continuum of music from their days to the music of today. I've followed all types of music over the years, so I can see how they got to this. If your parents really listened and were interested, they'd see it too -- but they had to spend time working and raising kids, so it's okay if they're not as cool as we are! ;)
I must say, I recommend the album “The Fool” while reading lyrics. It’s my favorite full album of all time. To me, it really shows bladees ability to write lyrics. Lots of themes of death and Gnosticism. I’m sure people recommend 100 different albums daily so whenever you get the time 👍🏻

There is unfortunately not that much info about the album, but Professor Skye did a very good review of it here on youtube if you wanna check it out, I think he had some good insights.
Bladee is very much a spiritual person, not a follower of any one particular religion, and these themes are found throughout his work. There’s an interview Bladee did with The fader in 2019 that might give you some more context to his work, I very much recommend it. When asked to define his spirituality he’s also said this:
”I’m trying to make it up myself. I take a little bit from things that I’m into, and the whole thing kind of came from the fact that I was able to build these worlds or universes in my music and to create within this kind of universe myself. […] What works for me is just following stuff that is beautiful and inspirational to me. These things that make me excited are what is divine to me, the shiny golden things that make the path you take." (bombmagazine, 2021)
I think this lines up with the variety of spiritual, religious and philosophical references he makes in his work.

The "Death is Beautiful" part probably points to many of Bladee's esoteric inspired lyricism. Also probably has something to do with his friend "Vattenrum" which is mentioned in the title of the song who passed away.

death is beautiful does not imply that life is not equally beautiful there are countless reasons that death is a beautiful process and the same goes for life i would like to say this album is less of a religious album and more of an album that is just about gratitude for all things in existence it's hard to explain in a simple way but i relate HEAVILY to this album almost more than any other album i've ever heard
the appreciation they are showing towards what most people would assume is god i think is more towards the whole universe and everything in existence described as one entity

That smile when Ecco starts saying closer, come closer in, on White Meadow is how i feel EVERY time i hear it. I swear it is impossible not to feel some sort of euphoria while listening to it, it's actually beautiful, no other word for it

When the album came out this video was titled crest (without gjwhf) but i suspect he/she changed it to just crest full album bc it wouldnt get as much views as it gets now

There is a lot of religious references in this album in bladees lyrics, definitely his most lyrically sound project
12:40 this album "touches" on God all throughout, lot of themes arround Budhism and Christianity are present. Bladee as said himself that he does not associate with any organized religion, but yeah they're deff religious
