@@afshanirfan7823 After cervical cerclage surgery, women should take the following precautions: avoid heavy lifting/exercise, abstain from sexual activity as advised, take prescribed medications, attend all follow-up appointments, monitor for signs of infection or preterm labor, and rest as much as possible. Safety first!

I have a question:
My wife is 32 weeks pregnant & doctor told us she has Posterior Grade 2 of 4 cms distance.
She often is in tension of her delivery to be normal.
What is the safest distance for the delivery to happen normally?
Is it still considered as low lying?

I had a cervical cerclage yesterday doctor. And I just saw this video. I've been put on bed rest until 37 weeks. And given oral progesterone tablets. This video was very useful for me. Thank you. I've conceived after 17 yrs of trying and I am 37 years old.
Madam,my wife has this yesterday at 20 weeks pregnancy with twins. Doctor advised absolute bed rest. Does it mean she has to be only on bed except for toilet. Or she can sit on chair atleast. Please advise.
@@RaviKumar-ew2oj I'm on strict bed rest. Get up only to use toilet and shower. Sit up a little while eating. Otherwise I'm always lying down

Thank you so much for this information. I am 33 weeks pregnant today and the cervix length suddenly dropped from 3.98 to 2.3 in 15 days. Now the doctor advised me only the bedrest but you explained it very well. You cleared all my doubts. You are the best. Please pray for my healthy delivery it can happen anytime
I am at 31 week even mine dropped from 3.2 to 2cm. Could you please suggest what are precautions you are taking now?
Also did doctor told you anything about preterm delivery??
@@priyamenon8968 Yes, she told me delivery can happen anytime. Bedrest is the best medication at this point. Also, put a pillow under your legs.

I just had cerclage yesterday. I was 1cm length and then shorten to 0.3cm after few days. Also, i was dilated at 0.6cm and funnelling. Had a successfull and pain-free cerclage with spinal Anesthesia. The operation only takes less than 15 mins. After surgery, there will be slight brown bleeding similar to last say of having your period. Bleeding cleared at 2nd day after surgery.
The doctor i got is a specialist from UK, and she give me advice to avoid strict bedrest because bedrest can cause blood clot in your body that can harm mummy and baby. Only do light activity at home as normal. No bending down or squatting.

Hello sir. I am 14 th week pregnency. In second month scanning cervical lenght is 3.1 CM. And in third month scanning cervical lenght 3.8 CM. Sir first pregnency miscarry in five and half month and they also put the stiches in third month. Sir pls sujjest this time need to put stitches Or not. My doctor told now it's fine we will see in fourth month scanning.

Hello Dr,I just want to share something actually one incident happened with me during pregnancy.i was told to take ultra calcium from seven months onwards by my dr.but medical people interpreted wrongly the prescription and they have given me Ultracet instead of Ultra Calcium.i had taken this medicine for two n half months dr m really sacred dr now please help me.will it affect my baby dr..
yes same thing happen to my wife but I saw the name of Ultracet and googled it and returned back to Medical Hall...... Medicall Hall people get confused with Ultra Calcium and Ultracet.......... They are illitrate dukaan chalatay hai dusre ke D-pharmacy ke certificate par

Such a beautiful explanation !! We lost our baby on 13 weeks due to cervix incompetence.
We are in the USA and this horrifying incident happened this year March/28. Doctor here said this is due to cervix insufficiency and nothing would have in anyone's hand. This is just a medical condition.
We both are completely lost. Doctor suggested that the next pregnancy can be tried after 3-4 months and suggested expert Dr advice.Hope all will be fine with us

@@sirik3193 hi sir... We did sonography on 15th may and on that day it waa . 6mm so doc told us to have complete bed rest and we are having isoxsuprine hci 4 times a day... And luckily we did another sonography just 2 days ago from other doctor ... And i dont know cervix came at 2.9 cm just normal at 26 weeks pregnancy.. can u please advise is it possible ? Or the previous sonography assessed wrong cervix??
Complete bed rest means how u taken and let me know have u taken any progesterone and how about your sleeping position

@@padminisahu9241 not in two days .. last sonography was done un march at that time cervix was 3.5 cm and in may start it went to 0.6 cm ...after taking complete bed rest it restored to 3 mm in 7 and half month of pregnancy.. But baby arrived in august .. baby came 1 month early.. but all are safe by god grace...

Doctor highlighted CERVICAL INCOMPRTENCE with vervix length 1.75cm and advised us urgent cervical stitch. Pls advise precautions.

Hello Divya I hope you're doing good. Yes you should inform the doctor. I am 20 weeks pregnant and my cervix is dilating. I had the same symptoms but didn't think of it much at that time.
