Wonder why people went behind them ruined the video the sound of music got low. Wth ? Never seen that b4. Thought were supposed to stay in spot for safety, etc. Like the security there. Like no warnings in megaphones one b4 parade or at entrance.
The dancers did not have to go this hard for us, but they DID

Marcus Martin I know it’s at least once, at 3:00. They go through Main Street and Frontierland I believe and floats are specific to parade!
I dont care what anyone says, but I love this new parade! I absolutely loved the Coco and Frozen 2 float, and it’s nice to see Disney do something different music wise, and I love how they included characters we’ve never seen in a parade like Moana and Miguel. Also the dancers and costumes were so lovely and different, I hope I get to see this parade someday!

Disney's Dreams Celebration Parade is the new daytime parade to end all daytime parades at Disney parks, bringing guests into the worlds of Disney like never before. Utilizing colorful floats and vibrant costumes, it feels as though a storybook has opened its pages! All along the parade route, an instrumental version of "When You Wish Upon A Star" beings to play as we hear a narrator's voice:
"Once upon a time, there lived a man named Walt Disney. Walt was, like a lot of you, a dreamer. He was a dreamer who could transform wishes into reality, and with just a sprinkle of pixie dust, he made characters we could only read about come to life. Over the years, we've met them all--a girl whose foot fit the glass slipper, a magical genie who can make wishes come true, a little lion cub who just can't wait to be king. Theirs was a world where dreams became reality and anything could happen. Today, we invite you to step inside this amazing world and let your imagination free as Disneyland proudly presents Disney's Dream Celebration Parade!"
The instrumental soon segues into a jubilant, full-blooded rendition of the parade's theme, "Just Like We Dreamed It".
On the horizon, we see it. The first float is a-coming. The parade has begun!

First Float: Once Upon a Time
- Coming down the parade route, a large storybook float appears floating on a cloud, led in by a series of parade performers as animators, holding paintbrushes, pencils and paint cans. The open storybook reads, "Disney's Dream Celebration Parade", glowing in changing, colorful LED lighting. Underneath the title, the page of the storybook feature numerous Disney characters, that are slowly revealed when the character is back-lit from within the storybook. On the backside of the storybook, fiber-optic, LED lighting waves appear, as if they storybook has just opened the guests into a world of magic.
Second Float: Pinocchio/Winnie the Pooh
- As the book passes us by, Honest John and Gideon make their way down the street, with a set of donkey boys, dancing to "Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee". Following Honest John and Gideon, the front of the next float features a large puppet Geppetto operating two puppet performers, who actually operate the Geppetto puppet. Located in-between the two puppets, Pinocchio is located. On a miniature stage to the left of Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket waves to guests. An audio-animatronic Figaro reaches into a fish bowl to capture a swimming Cleo. On another miniature stage to the right of Geppetto, the Blue Fairy is located, telling the entire audience to be true of heart and their dreams will come true. On the backside of the entire scene, a storybook "page" is located, separating it from the second half of the float.
- On the backside of the float, we find ourselves in the 100 Acre Wood. A large, beautiful tree with orange and dark red leaves, features a quiet Piglet waving from inside. Winnie the Pooh sits in an overflowing hunny pot just off the right of the tree. Tigger bounces in a grove just off the left of the tree. Following this float are Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Rabbit, Owl and Kanga with Roo, make their way down the parade route, carrying colorful flying flags.
Third Float: The Princess and the Frog
- A somewhat small riverboat travels down the parade route, steaming with smoke from the top canisters. In the front of the steamboat, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen wave to the guests. The inside of the riverboat is adorned with water pads and beautiful lily flowers. Louis, the Alligator, steers the entire riverboat from the Captain's Deck, as a cast of performers sing "Down in New Orleans". On the back of the boat, Dr. Facilier awaits, taunting the guests. A shadowy, dark figure of Dr. Facilier appears, projected on the boat behind Dr. Facilier.
Fourth Float: The Little Mermaid
- A set of performers in tropical, undersea costumes appear down the street with streamers in hand, before a colossal cornucopia of coral and shells appears, with Ariel and Eric planted on top, in a giant clam shell. Watery fountains emerge from the clam shell, making it seem like the couple is being lifted into the air by layering waterfalls. The float features several audio-animatronic fish from the "Under the Sea" scene, including Flounder and Sebastian, who sits at the front of the float in a much smaller clam shell, conducting the entire orchestra of fish.

Fifth Float: Peter Pan/Mary Poppins
- To continue this nautical theme, here come Captain Hook, along with Mr. Smee and his crew of pirates, heralding the arrival of a glorious pirate ship, with Peter Pan at the ship's wheel. Wendy cheerfully stands next to him, waving and interacting with the guests. Tinker Bell appears as a projection in the ship's hold. Tall masts stretch into the sky. At the base of the ships, watery waves are sculpted onto the base of the ship, as Tic-Toc, the Crocodile makes his way up the ship. At the back end of the ship, the wood work begins to fade into the brick-work of chimneys and London buildings. Big Ben, located on the opposite side of the float, can be seen.
- On the opposite side of the float, a series of chimneys and London buildings make up the background of the Mary Poppins section of the float. Mary and Bert are both riding on horses on a small carousel, located on the back end of the float. A tall structure of the clocktower, Big Ben, is located just behind the carousel. Dancing penguins and chimney sweeps from the movie proceed to follow the float.
Sixth Float: Alice in Wonderland
- The White Rabbit and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum make their way down the parade route, heralding the arrival of the wacky world of Wonderland. This float unit consists of three separate floats, all attached, but each with a different theme. The first float comes down adorned with beautiful flowers, seen in "The Golden Afternoon" scene from the movie. In the center of the float, the catepillar from the film, sits atop a large mushroom, smoking, as puffs of circular smoke emant from the audio-animatronics' mouth. The float is surrounded with different sort of trees and leaves. The Cheshire Cat spontaneously appears within the openings of the trees.
- Continuing on to the second float of the unit, the float consists of a large table, adorned with all different sorts of teapots, teacups and plates. Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare run along the float, interacting with the guests. Lanterns are suspended from the top of the float.
- In the third and final float of the Alice in Wonderland unit, tall hedge maze arches surround the float. Each of the arches is guarded by a heart or a spade soldier, surrounding the Queen of Hearts, who wields a dodo bird, in the middle of an intense game of croquette. The float is adorned with white roses, which have been hap-hazardly been painted red.
Seventh Float: Aladdin
- Genie, Abu, and Iago make their way down the parade route, alongside cymbal dancers and harem girls, heralding the arrival of Aladdin and Jasmine aboard their Magic Carpet. The Magic Carpet hovers about five feet off of the ground, with a pillar support as its' track. Clouds of smoke emanate from the sides and underneath the carpet, to not only hide the mechanisms of the moving carpet, but to make it seem as if Aladdin and Jasmine are on the carpet, floating on a continuously moving cloud. The carpet soars over a model of Agrabah, which gradually gets larger as it reaches the back of the float. At the back of the float is the Sultan's Palace, shining in all its glory.
Eighth Float: Frozen
- A team of ice harvesters make their way down the route, using their pick-axes to make blue sparks in the pavement. Olaf dances right alongside them. Riding on a float designed to look like a scenic fjord, we find Anna, in her coronation gown, and Kristoff standing in front of Arendelle Castle. Towering over the float is the North Mountain, complete with Elsa's ice palace. Elsa herself stands on the balcony, making "snow" appear.
Give those lead dancers and Merlin whatever they want for pay, good lord. Made me out of breath just watching them, they really brought it! Great job!!
The coordination at 3:25 was fantastic
I'm so happy that Coco is part of the parade. Currently my favorite Pixar film! (And I was shocked to see that The Sword in the Stone has a float)
I loved seeing the representation of all eras of Disney. The Blue Fairy's return gave me chills! And I loved the Coco float. As a Mexican American, it's thrilling to see a mariachi and my culture represented so beautifully and for all to enjoy!
Haven't seen Coco yet is it a good movie?

as if disneyland just being disneyland wasn’t enough to make me wanna be an imagineer, those dancers at the beginning CERTAINLY DID. they did not have to go so hard and yet they DID. THAT. this parade is so fresh and new and amazing oh my gosh. this makes me miss disney so much. hopefully when quarantine is over, i can celebrate my graduation at disney like ive been wanting to since i was in middle school :((
the tiana here was so pretty, she looked like she was having a lot of fun! i don’t get to go to the parks often so i love seeing stuff like this, thank you!

At first when I watched this parade I thought ehhh, but I'm falling so in love with it, not a dry eye when I watch it now, I especially love the last ending floats music! So beautifully well done, and night time it looks the best! Thank you! 👏

I’m beyond happy that there was Sword in the Stone in this parade! I appreciate that the crowd cheered when Arthur took the sword out of the stone because that’s what I would have done. The lights are important for that moment so I’m bummed you can’t really see that during the day. This parade in general is just way better at night.
I know its not the same people every night they do this, but we gotta give credit to where credit is due to these performers that rehearse for hours or days, not sure how long, but the end result is always amazing
Ok but if I was those little kids that Tinkerbell blew pixie dust on or even me now 16 years old i'd be balling my eyes bc I love tink with my whole heart and soul

I watched this live about four times and each time it MELTED my heart when Kristoff would stop and hug every little girl dressed as Anna MY HEART i cried the first time I watched, Im such a baby
OMG!!!! IT'S THE BLUE FAIRY!!!!!!! WHOOOHOOO!!!!!!!! And that Kristoff hugging the little girl was just SO DARN CUTE!

Not gonna lie, I may or may not have choked up up a bit...it’s also awesome how they had Merlin, and the blue fairy from Pinocchio in it too. They need to bring a new nighttime parade to Wdw
i'm really looking forwards to a few months from now when this is a bit tighter. there's still SO much space between everything that it feels really stagnant. I hope they eventually add more floats as well!
It will never be "tighter" as you say. Those big gaps are for crowd control. Every single Disneyland parade has them. The gaps allow for people who are not watching the parade to pass the street during the parade because the parade route blocks one half of the park from the other side and people still want to ride the attractions and what not. So those gaps will always be in the parades, sorry to break it to you.
@@taelermoore5060 you arent a theatre person lol. tighter in regards to performance means that everything is more put together, as in, the movements are sharper and done more in sync, there are less awkward gaps where nothing is happening (excluding he mandatory ones lol), etc.

Everyone's talking about the duck and Tinkerbell but nobody talkin about how Kristoff took the time to hang out with the little kid
As an adult, I still emotional over it all but imagine a kid seeing this. They've still got the view that all of this is real and this is all pure magic. The LED lights are real sparkles, the painted bars of gold to look like dust is really pixie dust, the people in costumes are the real characters who they watched fall in love. Im so happy and envious of that magical moment they are feeling 🥺❤

I don't care what anyone says; THIS PARADE IS OUTSTANDING. Disney made history with the music selection, diversity, choreography, everything is so modern and still maintains it's Disney identity. It did make me emotional because growing up I was a Disney lover, but there just wasn't any representation for those who looked like me. I am so grateful that more children of color have characters/movies that they can attach themselves to.

They really went hard with the tower lights for this parade. I love it. They are usually real subdued.
A year later and I still smile from ear to ear and tear up with the joy watching this parade. I am not a fan parades, but for some reason this one is so different. The music, choreo, costumes, floats, etc. and most importantly the random duck at the beginning.

Looks like he is a cast member trying to go home that's probably why he seems so unimpressed. At that point in my day if a parade is keeping me from getting to my car I would look annoyed too.

This parade is my guaranteed seratonin booster. Every time I watch this video I cry. I think seeing the Fairy Godmother is the part that pushes me over; she's just so sweet and beautiful. What a masterpiece of a show!
