  • The 2024 European Parliament election is scheduled to be held on June 6th through June 9th 2024. This will be the tenth parliamentary election since the first direct elections in 1979, and the first European Parliament election after Brexit. This election will also coincide with a number of other elections in the European Union. How will it change the EU and its institutions? Czech MEP Tomasz Zdechowsky explains the matter.

Although Tomáš is a decent person, unfortunately he himself has helped Russian propaganda and Russian disinformation many times in relation to the EU or environmental protection. The KDU-ČSL is a political party that failed to reform itself and has thus become very distant from its counterparts in Western countries, who recognize the importance of green policies among other issues. In the ranks of the KDU-ČSL there are even several important people who support Putin (especially former foreign minister Cyril Svoboda) and KDU-ČSL is unable to get rid of them. This party is dying.
