- TODAY we reviewed & ranked EVERY actor in the CW flash, from Grant Gustin to Candice Patton to Tom Cavanagh. The flash characters are cool and all but what about the actors that play these characters? I ranked the actors on 3 different topics: happy acting, sad acting & serious acting. Do you agree with my list?

I'd definitely put Danielle higher. Not as high as Grant or Candice, but on the good level with Carlos. She really has one of the saddest scenes in whole show (honestly half of her life is just one big tragic story).
The best friend of Barry could use a nose job to be more fit for the role.

Besides Danielle plays Caitlin in one way and Frost in a complete different way, she's an amazing actress

Bruh I feel like Cisco has a really big serious moment when he figures out when Barry creates flashpoint his brother died. He was upset for like 6 episodes
Also when Barry didn’t want to train them in S4
I aggree that grant gustin is top tier and oscar worthy actor to be honest in the show my favorite actors are Grant Gustin and Candice Patton because this one scene where Barry and Iris fight because Barry found out Nora was working with Eobard thawn. The emotion in that scene is so good and is very well played. The way Barry yells at Iris there is so much emotion inside that voice. Which is great acting for both actors. Last but not least, CW you told me to comment that. Overall, great video Kosho its very funny and the way you rank these actors is very entertaining. Good job, Keep up the great work dude.

I got upset at iris in that scene for saying she didn't have problem Nora working with thawne in Anger or not she should never have said that to be betrayed look in Barrys eyes the pain was sad to watch
Carlos was pretty serious in early season 3 when his brother was dead
Two things,
One. Caitlin isn’t always happy. Also I really like Caitlin because how serious she is, how she will find lightheartedness in her.
Two. Are you just forget Nora in season 7 and 8, she seems to be a bit there.
Also I’m surprised you like Allegra, never that kind of towards the character. I always thought her character was very compelling
Yea I can agree, I would put Daniella higher because she has shown a wide emotion set and even with Jessica maybe and for Kayla I would put her in "needs improvement"

She can upset that her man left her, even if it was to save the world. Think of it as your significant other being deployed without any notice, you can go through a range of emotions, and being upset is/can be one of them even though that’s one he/she signed up for when they joined the military.

me, when I completely misread a character
My fav character is eobard, both an amazing actor and a terrifying character also the fact that he has played like 7 different roles is also pretty crazy. Now that's character recycling at it's finest
It really hurt me what you said about Cisco tho 😔 He has many good scenes where he is serious (mostly in season 5 i think).
Other thing that killed me was
" Cisco just doesn't have any deep relationship with anyone." He has the deepest relationship with Barry and Caitlin, and it was show during whole show many times. They would all die for each other. Damn, Cisoc knows Caity since her first day in work. He was with her, when Ronnie died. He was the one who fought the hardest for Caitlin, while she was becoming Killer Frost. To Barry. After Flashpoint, Cisco had to learn to forgive Barry for killing his brother. Damn, Barry even made Cisco leader of Team in season 4 or 5 (I don't remember). He did that because he trusted Cisco. And whole plot where Cisco didn't want to give up on Barry, knowing he will die in Crisis, is just beautiful. Cisco is literally like brother to Barry. Same with Caitlin. They all can't imagine life without each other. Also whole Cisco leaving Central City episode show that deep connection too. Barry and Caity were shock that Cisco & Kamilla leaves, but they let him do it, even it hurt them.
Also another amazing example of deep connection between Cisco & Caity is scene when he takes Meta cure. It was really hard for Caitlin and Frost) knowing that Vibe will disappear forever.
*Fun fact. I don't how about you. But I think writers ruined his character at this point, taking his powers away. It was totally useless, since he wanted them back in next seasons (example: Mech Vibe 😆)
I’m sorryyy Natalie Ramon. I just think his funny side overpowers too much
@KoshoReacts but still, if you really think about it, he it's all funny and stuff but he's really just depressed. You can tell, the funniest bit, that he's depressed when he's being funny. It's an extremely mild thing that you don't notice unless you're really looking for it. His seriousness also went through the roof in season 5 when he was dumped AND he lost his powers. That brought out the seriousness in him and you see when he's hiding it too. I'd genuinely put him in amazing even if I look at it like you did.

He was one in my top 5 and I really miss him. The show is definitely not the same without him!

A really good scene that shows when iris genuinely happy is in the first season with Eddie. When Eddie comes back to her and says screw the future. I think it was great acting by both Candice and cosnett.
CW. Also I really hope to see Grant Gustin replace Ezra Miller in any upcoming flash appearances

9:05 I think him begin serious in this scene is a lot better than most of the characters because he genuinely plays a funny and joyful character that him begin serious in that scene is better than most
Season 1-2 and a bit of season 3 Grant when it came to being happy is unmatched. The man was a lovable meme which had to slowly deteriorate due to everything the show put his character through which checks out. His moments with Smoke in Season 1 ‘chef kiss’

Video idea; ranking the Flash’s different characters powers on a tier list. So like, you would do Barry’s powers (super speed,) Frost/Caitlin’s powers (ice,) Cecile’s powers (mind reading,) and on and on. You could rank the abilities on powerfulness (not sure if that’s a word,) and just generally how cool the abilities are.

I think for Carlos you didn’t really give him a fair chance, like in 3x02 the scene after Barry explained flashpoint and 3x07 after Barry came back from fighting frost the first time he showed some really good acting in the serious category

For 6x04 when joe breaks down it’s because he wasn’t ready for Barry to die in crisis because they didn’t know it wasn’t that Barry (earth 1 Barry) I’ve been watching every season in order and I’m on season 7
the way you graded Danielle Panabaker was weird. because even tho Frost might not threaten you, Dani plays her very differently than she does Caitlin. and she does it very well. hell and even when they were just introducing her frost persona, when she was angry and Barry was a hell of a good scene.

I’ve seen a number of article saying the studios have already invested too much $$ in Ezra Miller to do reshoots so as problematic as Ezra has been they will still be cast as the flash in the movie.

In seasons 2 and 3 frost was a much more evil character so if you go back to those seasons you’ll see that Danielle Panabaker played an angry character very well but I like that you put Tom Cavanagh as an oscar worthy actor because it’s 100% true he is just phenomenal for so many reasons

I agree with most of this but I personally think that if Candice is in awesome then DP should be too. And I would like to correct the part where you said she was always happy, more rather she was an inspiring person, she tried her hardest to make sure other people were okay mentally and physically (health wise) but she’s for sure had some very sad scenes, looking back on when she’s crying after Jay (Zoloman) is killed by Zoom in season two, you can tell she can do a really good job with emotional scenes. Now, I do agree, I was never intimidated by Killer Frost and it wasn’t because Danielle was unable to make a character of that sort, but the writing wasn’t meant to be like that. The writing was meant to be that the character is intimidating to other characters but not to the audience (my personal opinion.) because, Caitlin always tried to be a joyous person, I doubt the persona of Killer Frost was supposed to actually make people be scared of her with let’s say Thawne. It was more of to show Caitlin this different side of her, with season eight, her acting has been wonky but she was pregnant just about the all season, though that was mostly just when Frost died. She was probably exhausted playing two characters at once, so trying to put emotions after having to already switch back and forth and out the effort into doing hard scenes as she’s pregnant I imagine is difficult. But she has had some very sad scenes, and even if she comes off as a happy and understanding person, the writers have made her go through so much as a character. But lastly, I do agree we don’t see her mad to often, other then really at Barry and as season two Killer Frost.

I agree with a lot of this. there are a few characters I would have liked to see, mainly the actors of villians like zoom, DeVoe, Cicada, Bloodwork etc.
I thought Teddy Sears was fantastic at portraying Zoom as an insane serial killer
The one from Thawne, also played a bunch of wells
Honestly I really enjoyed Jesse L Martin because there were moments especially his laughs that just felt a sense of realism that stuck out

9:10 when someone's voice is very high pitch it will usually be hard for people to take people serious and if ur voice is a deep pitch it will easy to take you serious

I think Chester character isn't really supposed to be serious alot, when he had that "argument" with Barry, you gotta understand he wasn't really familiar with the team, and he was a big fan of The Flash, so when he gets to see who it is and gets into that argument, I think he just pulled back because he didn't wanna argue with him
at 21:27 i understand what you are saying he would be more like "i all ways win no matter how hard you try i will always be faster" then he would like attack barry or the team blah blah blah he is amazing in all of those departments perfect example when he broke out of his confinement in season 5 and was saying how he is the only speedster who know how to manipulate the timeline to get what he wants it was amazing

Chester isn't super bad. His character just doesn't give all the emotions out. He usually gives out happy vibes with some nerdy vibes and sometimes can be determined and focused. He's not bad.

Grants best scene imo is that episode in season 5 where he and Iris go at it over Nora working with Thawne
also that scene where grant played all the versions of wells
My fave top five 1) Jesse L. Martin- He has great range- comedic, emotional, all around great veteran actor. 2) Tom Cavanaugh- He has great range in his many iterations of wells, great veteran actor. 3&4) Grant Gustin and Candace Patton were picked as the leads for a reason. They kill it every scene. They both have the emotional depth required of the lead characters, and 5) Carlos Valdez the funny genius side kick that showed some range in 1x15 when he was killed by RF but the flash accidentally erased that timeline. I think Danielle PB is okay as is Danielle Nicolet. Danielle PB range is very limited to the nice smart girl, she has no range. Danielle Nicolet gives me overacting soap opera vibes.
I promise you DP has range, you just gotta watch other things she’s been in. My personal favorite, Girls Against Boys

The reason everyone hates allegra is because of the bad writing she was given most of the time she has been on the show. It has improved in season 8 though.
Do you know anything about flash media? Reverse flash who has been trying to beat the flash for forever would totally be ecstatic for finally winning. That doesn’t even matter, you know nothing about acting inflictions when Chester smiles while he’s supposed to be sad is great acting, Chester is hurt and thought he really had a chance to finally prove himself and feels letdown, just by watching his face you can tell how truly hurt he’s supposed to be, he is trying to hide the pain behind the smile because of his the things that have happened in his life and it’s his way of coping.
Caitlin is my favourite female character in the show I’ll put her in amazing
