1. Use winter tyres.
2. When air temp is +2 to - 2 CELSIUS speed must be lower than normal becouse the road temp is about 0 Celsius or lower.
3. Keep blogger distance to the car in front of you to be able to stop in time.
4. IF you must use the brakes to slow down DONT LOCK the brakes!
5. IF that happening release the brakes and try to counter steer and brake again.
6. IF the car starts to skid in a turn DONT touch the brakes!!! It Will make the situation worse!
Here in Sweden we must learn how to drive on snow and/or ice covered road before we can be aproved a driving licence.

I am guessing that English is your second language and while you are technically correct, it is so funny because "successfully" is usually used in a positive outcome! No offense intended. Now I know when I try to talk in another language, people sometimes giggle at what I say. You videos are brilliant, and thank you. This is why people who live in an area that get a lot of snow each year to take a defensive driving course they will teach you how to drive a car or van or whatever you got to pick up truck in the snow and ice conditions and the first thing that this guy did in the van with a big mistake he slammed on his brakes and he lost all control of the vehicle you never ever ever slam on your brakes if you need to slow down you pump your brakes you never slam on them in that condition because when you slam on them you can't steer your vehicle the only place your vehicles going to go is straight pump your brakes you still can steer and you might be able to steer your way out of a collision or from going off the road Don't Panic cuz when you panic you make mistakes he panicked you made a mistake and slammed on his brakes and that's why he didn't get up in the ditch

That's black ice conditions and what mistake did everyone of those drivers make they slammed on their brakes and lost control of the vehicles if they pump the brakes they still had the ability to steer the vehicle but no they panicked and they hit their break too hard and they lost all control of the vehicle even that truck have the ability to avoid that real big accident he could have used the retaining wall too slow himself down but now he panicked
