initially when i started to look into islam i would only just watch islamic lectures on youtube i did it fr abt 3 yrs i was kinda young at tht tym i thought youtube lectures is all tht there is to knw abt islam😅. i dont usually watch youtube lectures almost at all anymore i hv gone into mre advanced learning but i was introduced to this channel abt a month ago & i cn say all tht i benefitted frm this channel outweighs almost all tht i benefitted in those 3 yrs.jazakallah khair ya shaykh may allah grant you jannathul firdous
Please tell shiekh to make series on this book, we need to learn the authentic seerah of our beloved prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه واله وسلم , just 15mins per day or week doesn't matter but please make this seerah series.

I truly look up to you for your work Ustad Uthman. But why did you waste 7+ whole years of your life on writing a book on furooi issue? What does it matter if I do Raful Yadain or not. The effects it has on my prayer are insignificant. It's not even mukruh to either do it or leave it. You could have wrote on modern fitnahs and atheism or something.
This saddens me so much, I can't explain how bad I feel. How would you feel if I wrote a book on a nonsense topic defending whether one should say Ameen out loud or not. Even tho both are permissible.
I guess this is exactly why we are failing as an ummah. Fighting against permissibilities and ignoring the enemy at our door step.
You clearly are a kid (intellectually speaking) no wonder the nonsensical comment. Imam al-Bukhari wrote 'Juz Raf al-Yadayn' a book on Raf al-Yadayn, I'm sure he too wasted his time in your not so humble opinion. Go read the English translation of it if you don't know Arabic - it has been translated years ago.
The reason Muslims are "failing" is because of kids like you who cannot study or research so as to become excellent and productive scientists, engineers, doctors, economists, biologists, historians, logicians, mathematicians, anthropologists et cetera, but instead focus on unnecessary topics like "why Uthman ibn Farooq wrote a book on furu'i mas'ala?". Islamic scholars have been writing kutub on furu'i masa'il for more than a thousand of years now and will write keep writing on even the smallest Islamic issue be it furu'i or usuli.
By the way, intellectually poor people like you don't know that great ulama like Imam Ibn Khuzaymah (compiler of Sahih ibn Khuzaymah) and others (Imam Nu'aym ibn Hammad, teacher of Imam Bukhari) held that the salah is invalid without Raf al-Yadayn! There is a huge ikhtilaf on it and scholars will write kutub to defend any sunnah of the Rasul 'alayhi salatu wa salam.
Let the 'ilmi matters be discussed by the 'ulama who've 'ilm, "fake Engineers" or even "real Engineers" are quacks who don't know much about Islam. Engineers, doctors, scientists, professionals (IT et. al.) should focus on their fields so as to take the Ummah ahead materialistically speaking. General feedback and even constructive criticism from the Muslim community (aami Muslims) is always welcome but "fatwa" and "claims" stating "Raf al-Yadayn" to be a " a nonsense topic" will be met with exposing the claimants jahl on Islam and ground realities.
Interestingly, why aren't you writing books on "modern fitnahs and atheism"? Which 'aalim or da'i has stopped you from doing your due diligence, researching the topic or even becoming a philosopher, logician and biologist so as to refute Atheism, Darwinianism et. al. academically? Wake-up kid, don't take your frustration of being a mediocre or even a failure on 'ulama or du'at. Go get an education so as to help Muslims grow.
Who said both are permissible? Do you know the reward of reviving the sunnah that has been abandoned and neglected?!
@@ibniftikhar So Abu Hanifa and Imam shafi and all their followers are wrong? Hanafis are in favour of not doing raf ul Yadain, but they don't forbid it, they say it's more rewarding to not do it. While shafi says otherwise. But when shafi came to kufa, he didn't do Raful Yadain in honor of Abu Hanifa. And his host, Imam Abu Yusuf, being a hanafi did Raful Yadain in honor of his guest Imam shafi. Please learn before you debate.
@j0kez708 first Abu Haneefah didn't write ANY book on fiqh and Imam Shafi'i doesn't say you shouldn't do Raf al-Yadayn. Give me the reference of where Imam Shafi'i say he didn't do Raf al yadayn in honor of Abu Hanifah.
And yes, humans can be wrong. And that argument is very feeble. I can say the same thing about any Imam who recommends Raf-ul-Yadayn. Was Imam al-Bukhari wrong when he wrote a separate book just on this topic? Were the Sahabah wrong in doing Raf al-Yadayn? Of course, humans can err. We follow the Wahi, not individuals.
By the way, your first book of Fiqh, al-Hidayah was written 400 years after Abu Haneefah. And don't treat any individual other than the Prophet ﷺ as ma'soom. Your arguments are merely the Devil's deception of keeping you a rigid follower of men's opinions instead of following that which the Qur'an commands you to follow: the Kitaab and the Sunnah. You blind followers of madhhabs are putting the cart before the horse. And there is not a single authentic hadith which states that you shouldn't raise your hand before and after ruku'. Whereas there are mutawatir narrations which state you should do it. You throw away the ahadith in favor of a madhhab opinion and this is something you will be judged about on the Day of Judgement. Because Allah has commanded us to follow and obey the Prophet ﷺ in numerous ayat. Something we haven't been commanded regarding madhhabs. By the way, there are hanafis that do Raf al yadayn. Why don't you ask them why they do it?
