That is what a real pool skimmer is for, the one included with most pools! mine works fine!

I know, old post. You are correct. However. I have my first oval and cannot get the water to circulate as does a round. I believe this is a good alternative.

This takes the place of the skimmer on the pole that you’d use to skim the top of the pool.

These things work very well. They also seem to be continually improving it. Keep the original box and get the extended warranty from Betta (not some aftermarket,) you won’t regret it.

Mine stopped working after 12 months, right at end of warranty. They still honored my warranty and
Sent me the parts I needed to fix propellers.

It’s nice but I have the Ariel and it has tractor like paddles that work great and nothing gets stuck on them. This looks good very close to the Ariel

Do you think this is worth it if I do not get much or any leaves. I mainly have issues with dirt and not sure it would help with dirt or dust.

All good until it stops working after 2 weeks. Getting solid green lights and spinning. Customer service is in the Philippines and they are not helpful. Extended warranty is expensive and they only except submissions to their website. It has many design flaws. I do not recommend this.

It's fascinating to see that many reviewers, comfortably living with pool cages that prevent debris from entering their pools, still choose to review robotic skimmers. They really should consider involving genuine reviewers who use their products extensively, beyond just a week of testing, to provide a more accurate assessment. What a joke!

Your pool is enclosed. wtf do you know about debris and leaves getting in your pool

  • @zzsql

Why do you have a pool skimmer when the pool is already covered by that mosquito net? Nothing's ever going to get in there. (Except for the leaves you tossed in there lol.)
