This has been on my Amazon wishlist for a few months now, but the mixed reviews kept me from buying it. THANK YOU for changing my mind about this deck. Such amazing cards for self growth and introspection. :)
    Simon, you are the best!

I think I mentioned that I adore this deck when you first received it. Louder now - LOVE this !! The art is stunning & perfect for the style - archetypes. I discovered this on Sunset Bough Tarot's channel, she is a big fan of the creator & ordered it immediately it was released, as did I.
I've been saying the same thing for 2 years on your walkthroughs =) thank you Simon, terrific video xx

I would buy this deck just for that wolf card.

Thanks for this in-depth walkthrough.Very interesting deck indeed. The introduction you read from the guidebook reminded me very much of Hermann Hesse´s "Steppenwolf".....The main theme of the book is the protagonist´s struggle with his dual nature, the struggle between what he perceives as his human, civilized self and his animalistic, instincutal side, his Steppenwolf...he´s torn between those 2 antipoles, not being able to integrate and consolidate the two....very much like the Strength card in shadow actually. At the end of the book ,when he is already far into his healing journey and enters the Magic Theatre (which reminds me very much of Tarot itself in the way it mirrors our innermost selves) he begins to realize that the duality of his nature was just an illusion,an oversimplified concept. He comes across a chess game, realizing that all the pieces, the Pawns, the Rooks, the Queens etc. on the board, are actually parts of himself he hadn´t been aware of and that there is a richness to his real nature,he had never done justice.Hesse knew C.G. Jung personally and had been a patient of one of his disciples several times over the years,so he was very aware of the concept of archetypes and the collective unconscious, which he used in what has to be his most psychological novel.Hesse is one of my favourite authors,if not THE favourite and I have read his "Steppenwolf" several times over the years, but I only came to understand it fully, when I started working with tarot and became more familiar with the concept of archetypes.I love the fact that there´s a wolf card in this deck, but I´m not sure whether I should get it or not, since I already have Kim Krans´ Wild Unknown Archetype deck.Even though her approach is a bit different,I´m so fully content with that deck, that I probably wouldn´t use this one a lot. There´s also another archetype oracle deck, that looks quite intruiging, but I can´t remember its name right now.Anyway, thanks for this thought-provoking walkthrough and please excuse my rant.....

I was on the fence until you read the story for the Sage card. So beautiful and unique. …Can’t lie, I was hoping you’d draw the Mooncat-what a strange archetype! Guess I need to buy the deck to find out how to work with my inner mooncat. 😂
Thank you-I don’t comment often but I loved watching your Glastonbury videos, and always enjoy your walkthroughs. :)

I love "Griffin and Sabine"! I had not known until recently that he'd made a deck. I've watched a few videos but no one really has gone into explanations on archetypes or looked at the book. So thank you for that. I don't usually love collage art, but I know already I love his from his books. I wish, as you said, he had kept making more decks that would be expansions of this one. How have you found working with this deck to be? I've never done anything with archetypes before.

Thanks for the walkthrough! I like the artwork quite a bit. I appreciate that a lot of "historically archetypal images" will be male, and this deck seems to follow that pattern. For that reason I find a lot of these images challenging, as I can imagine a female strategist, for example. Still, I can see this deck being very useful for others. Great idea for working with archetypes.

I don’t normally do Oracle. But this!! ❤️
It was a great tarot cross over and yes… I instantly thought “Wheel of Fortune”
    Beautiful deck 🙏

I think it’s because the tarot is so rich with archetypes, this deck naturally goes hand in hand 😍
