- One football senior that won't get his senior season is Spencer Brown. The star offensive lineman is a preseason All-American, but as we talked about earlier in this show, he'll focus on preparing for the NFL draft and won't play this spring season. This summer he put one last finger print on the UNI football program...and it was a big one.

At 6"8 or 6"9 the NFL will push him to 345 to 360lbs and teach him to lower those hips. He is going to be a house hold name in 2 year's.

My pop in college playing football benched 510 - he always told me how he got strong was the incline where he did 435 max. But that changed his strength

Scouts don't care about a kid's bench technique. Is he coachable? Is he huge? Is he athletic? Have the power to move SUPER HEAVY WEIGHT off the chest with semi-techique? Yes? "Hey GM, we want to show you something!" Lol
@@Tdope768 Only time will tell if he can play, (Tony Mandarich anyone?) but bench press really doesn't translate to the playing field. Now if he could power clean 450 lbs. that would be impressive. Football is played from the ground up.
