In real life, they would of never had the client and the therapist being accused of therapeutic manipulation in the same room bc the therapist who has seen his patient has a pattern of manipulative behaviors and signals that continue to control the client. Very subtle head nods and actual physical touch which in this would of never been permitted. Mr. Meyers was a highly suggestable patient with a serious mental health diagnosis. Plus, he was being weaned off of a very strong anti-psychotic. It was a perfect storm, and his therapist knew it. He didnt have to out right tell his client to kill someone in order for him to do it. That smug therapist is clever but manipulative and heartless. He danced around the subject and made him believe that their therapeutic relationship was in jeopardy seeing how mr. Meyers finally felt like he genuinely wanted to help him. So he did what did to protect their relationship at the perceived threat of losing the therapist. Sick!!!! And unfortunately people like him exist in mental health today.

@@Pretty_Mess Yeah which is why they started showing clips seasons 13 onward, because that’s what’s on peacock, a shame as for me anyway the last 8 seasons pale in comparison to the first 8, ever since it disappeared from Netflix it hasn’t appeared since and I hope it will come again, but anyway I just continue to watch on syndication or the dvds

Robert Foxworth (the doctor) is always good in anything he's in. A very talented actor. Probably best known for Falcon Crest, but I always remember him for playing a corrupt admiral on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and also for having been the husband of Bewitched's Elizabeth Montgomery.

Depends on the doctor. I had some shitty ones that (Not that far) but did try to push me on meds I said I didn't need. My current one I've had for over a decade is nitpicky with medication and what he gives. So much so he won't give it for issues he feels you can work around without it. He will only give medication for stuff you have too, and try to give the minimal.

The Bible Luke 20 : 45 While all the people were listening, he told his disciples, 46 "Beware of the scribes! They like to walk around in long robes and love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have the best seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets. 47 They devour widows' houses and say long prayers to cover it up.
