The Blue Snowball ICE USB Microphone is a budget-friendly, entry-level microphone that is perfect for improving your stream quality or spicing up those zoom meetings. The mic connects up to your computer via USB cable and doesn't require any type of audio interface or software configuration, it is simply plug and play! Once connected, a red indicator light will let you know that you are ready to go. The small included stand is fine for starters but I would recommend upgrading to a boom arm, just find one with a 5/8 connection.
The mic records at a Frequency Response: 40 -18 kHz and a Sample/word Rate of 44.1 kHz/16 bit. Comparing JLabs Talk Go vs Blue Snowball Ice does lack a fair amount of features, but I think that the audio quality is better on the Blue Snowball Ice. Comparing the Blue Snowball Ice vs the Blue Snowball, you get some more configurability as well as another recording pattern. That said, I think the Blue Snowball Ice will be more than sufficient for most people. The only reason to upgrade to the Blue Snowball is if you need the polar pattern.

@@3411HeavenMedia well i had one with the bigger usb and the actually usb port thing on it broke, then I got another one but upgraded a few years later to a better mic for recording singing :) it's a really good starter mic imo tho
Oh no, it means mine is already broken. It can’t pick up sound very much when more than an inch away from it. 😳 sad. Got it as “used” way back in 2018 and dropped it several times, that’s probably why. Oh well.

Check your gain levels on your interface or sound settings on your desktop/laptop
