Bro thank you sooooo much!! I bought a truck that was parked for 10years they replaced everything and couldn’t get it running. I replaced the relay and nothing. Now after watching your video I took it all apart slightly lubed it up and put it back together. The solenoid wouldn’t hold up so I adjusted it like you said and made it a bit longer. BAM TRUCK IS ON AND RUNNING 🙏🏼
i do a service on one 5.9 12v and i start the truck and run for 15 minutes then when i push the gas start to white smoke and misfiring and stop, and then saw that solenoid was tie with a wire and its loosened, grean video i know what i have to do with that solenoid!
+Miguel Figueroa Glad it helped! Honestly your problem doesn't really sound FSS related. If playing with it doesn't fix your problem, make sure you have good fuel pressure.
Thats right, i dont have good pressure on it, and its like air in the system, i prime it and then re check and see bubbles on the fuel drain manifold, the worst part its all of this is happen after me changed the timing case and cover gasket job, i hope the gear it not slide or something... but i dont think so because the truck already start
I replaced the solenoid and a new wiring harness, also adjusted the solenoid and the truck starts great and idles but trying to get RPMs. It won't go fast enough to shift gears! And the strangest thing is there is no RPMs and speed showing on the dash? Can anyone help! Please
+John Sheffield You say you replaced the engine wiring harness? If so make sure everything is plugged back in like it should be. Is the FSS adjusted like it is shown in the video? If you're having problems putting the back bolt in the hole.....of the solenid I use Harbor freight # 96726 The flex shaft comes off And magnetic socket Harbor freight # 60384 Plus you'll need the screw driver with different bits works like a charm And wobble extention will torque them fine For those that are having problems...

Quick, to-the-point, not a lot of jibber-jabber, shows everything clearly, explains everything well...great video. Thanks for posting it.
Thanks for taking the time to show how to replace this fuel shut off solenoid and adjustment. Very nice video. -PawPaw
Thanks for posting this. Good explanations.
Does it come factory adjusted and should I change the adjustment on account of me turning the pump all the way up

Can't find a 01 24v FSS anywhere. Can I use the same FSS that a 12v takes or are they different?
Does it come factory adjusted
