Just had the 2 front windows done on my new truck same price here in CT $100. Nice they got a machine now that cuts the tint pattern out automatically. A air needle scaler is great for knocking off that rust too.
I learned if I take the wood stove ashes and fill an old tire with the ashes then the chickens have a dust bath available all winter long..of course it has to be under one of the old boats we have chillin out back so to keep snow out of it..but my point is if you get chickens you will find uses for a lot of the old junk stuff you have been collecting over the years!

After you apply the top of the window tint you just roll the window the rest of the way up and finish it off but don't get carried away trimming the excess off the bottom after you get it where you want it you can trim the excess off and then make a final pass as long as you apply plenty of water and soap the tint can be pretty forgiving as long as you buy quality tint

To seperate the two plys of the window tint. Put a small piece of masking tape on one corner . Another piece facing the first then Stick the tapes together . pull apart the 2 tapes and the clear will seperate from the film . You can then use the tape as a “handle” to move the film around . Then peel off.
Hey Mike next time try precut tint. It comes laser cut for ur vehicle. Save the trouble cutting it urself since ur comfortable with the squeegee and laying it down
Snowblowers are a perfect example of something just awkwardly heavy enough you CAN lift it into a truck by yourself, but you should probably get help even though you shouldnt need it. I've watched a lot of tint videos from some guy in like Michigan. You cut the top of the window to shape and leave excess on the bottom. Once the top is in place you roll it up and cut the bottom to length.
Should have used the first tint sheet as a template for the other ones and just add a little bit to correct the mistake. Lesson learned. Love your videos anyway 😊

Mike start doing fiberglass and steel prefab vinyl pools there so f*king easy and it's an easy sell just have to find a good manufacturer, I manage the renovation and liner department for pioneer family pools here in Ontario Canada if you ever wanna learn how to do pools I'll gladly show you

Your supposed to pry the window sill out its rubber so you can see an inch down into the door panel then put your window down a touch and leave access on bottom side to squeegee behind the door panel lower on the glass. Good try brother its super tough. Pain in the butt. Some cases you have to take the whole door panel off

Loose paint on some of the rims means the surfaces were not prepped correctly. The previous owner of those rims probably just chipped off the loose paint and used a random orange spray can that he had in his vicinity. Haha.
A good idea for the tint is start at the top and work down an roll window back up as you get to the bottom. I messed up plenty of tint myself. So aggravating
Geez Mike, I've tried tinting once 25 years ago when I was young and watched one video from an actual winter and I can tell you right now you cut the bottom way too early. You should have cut the top edge of the window and then put the window up and cut the bottom to fit.

I’ve tried tinting my truck before and it wasn’t easy. I ended up buying pre cut tint and it made my life much easier.

Looks good Mike. My 05 passenger door was my first try n I cut mine short just like u did, 7 years ago n I still have the truck, it doesn't bother me

When i tried tinting my f 250 i did the same thing. The clear practice sheet was flawless. Then cut the real one too short
