  • If you’ve ever wondered how hit songs these days differ from hits in the past, you’re not the only one. Collin Junus shows us the special ingredients that go into some of the catchiest tunes from today and yesterday.
Opening-reel animation created for TEDxJIS by Alexander Finch with music performed by Ricky Tjitradjaja.
Having been in love with art and music his whole life, Collin is a 13-year-old aspiring activist. At age 3, he lifted up a pencil and started sketching, and he expanded his interest in music at age 7, compiling bits of notes into chords and composing melodies. In the future, Collin hopes to improve music education for Jakarta’s youth. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
